This was one of the best places we visited in Sri Lanka- good hot, fresh food with a good variety of meat and vegetarian. Lovely juices too! The staff were friendly, chatty and genuine and the bathrooms and set up was thoughtful and quaint. Thanks for the great experience! As we travelled around Sri Lanka, not all places are as... More

Our driver,- I am sure - with all good intentions stopped in a roadside Restaurant in a Garden setting, by a lake or river, ( could not see as it has been raining ). Supposedly it is the only good option in on this road. I wish we would have stuck to Bananas and Biscuits. Upon seating our waited harried... More

After visiting the Golden Temple we had this wonderful lunch in a very nice and peaceful landscape with the most delicious Sri Lanka curry! As usual people were very friendly. Nice facilities and I enjoyed a lot to observe a squirrel on the top of a papaya tree eating one of them!

A lovely little restaurant with amazing food and excellent surroundings. The prices are really cheap too. The gardens have signed trees so you can see what a cinnamon tree or a soursop tree actually looks like. There a heaps of different and cool plants that will surprise you. I have to say though the butter chicken topped it off ;... More

We have stopped, as suggested by our guide, at Saruketha restaurant in Muttettugala in our trip from Nilaveli to Negomboo (near Colombo). The buffet was 1.200 rupee (7,15€) per person plus the drink, but we have chosen to select from the menu a la carte. So we have taken a club special sandwich (950 rupee - 5,65€) and a praws... More

We stopped here for lunch on the way to Habarana. Service was pleasant, food and drink were nice. Toilets ok - bit disconcerting with a dog sleeping in one of the cubicles. Surroundings were relaxed and we didn't feel rushed.
