This is a wonderful, friendly tearoom. The service is outstanding and the food is all homemade and delicious - the cheese scones in particular are absolutely divine! They are very kind to all and nothing is too much trouble. It's well worth a visit - we keep going back.

Stopped here for tea and cake and it was superb. Cakes were once and fresh, service prompt and polite. Couldn't ask for more from such a small place!

Lovely little place, beautiful surroundings, food was lovely and fresh, the owners were do friendly as was the member of staff nothing was too much trouble. Well worth a visit, take extra money as they have some lovely things to buy too.

My family and I decided to visit for afternoon tea. We were also celebrating my fathers 82nd birthday. Although the weather outside was miserable and raining and we could not appreciate the lovely gardens, however the ambience inside was warm and welcoming. We were served with an array of warm cheese scones, fruit scones with jam and cream, sandwiches and... More

Absolutely delicious coffee, cakes and shortbread, looking forward to returning to try out the rest of the menu. We sat outside but the inside looked very inviting and had some lovely locally made gifts for sale.

Very nice welcome , could not do enough for us even with our 2yo, had a high chair and everything. Great selection of cakes, the Sugar Plum special was amazing. Cheese and sweet scones were light and fluffy, warm too, a rarity these days! The kids had chocolate chip cookies which were very obviously home made- in a good way!... More

We had a late lunch / early tea here after a long walk. It's a lovely place with a very warm welcome from the new owners. We shared a cheese ploughman's followed by a cream tea and a slice of chocolate cake! It was all delicious and beautifully presented on a cake stand with little doilies. We did enjoy sitting... It was lovely to discover that The Wishing Well has resurfaced. We had an excellent tea-time-treat on an otherwise un-noteworthy Bank Holiday afternoon (with damp weather ...). Lovely cream tea and a large piece of cake to follow ~ such that we needed more walking to salve the conscience :) Good luck with the new venture
