Excellent food and always good service. The menu changes regularly and the specials are always special. Definitely worth a visit. The coffee is fab too.

My first time here, and it won't be my last! The food all looked delicious. My choice did not disappoint. The staff were all lovely - very friendly and attentive. Will certainly be going back. Thank you, Bear Café, for a real lunchtime treat.

Really nice vegan range of food, friendly service and good value. Waitress asked us to move to a smaller table, and gave us free beer! Should become mandatory!

Went to Todmorden for the day and decided to have lunch here after seeing as we drove past into town. As a vegetarian I am so used to not having much choice it took me a long time to decide. All the menu items sounded delicious and there were also lots of specials on the board as well. I went... More

I have been to The Bear twice in recent weeks and have been blown away by the fantastic food.Living locally means I will be back for more in the near future. Both times I had a different Fritatta from the specials board and with different salads.Every aspect of my meal was great from the celeriac remoulade to the tomato and... More

Popped in here for lunch after popping in the train for a few hours. The bean burrito I had was superb, far tastier then any meat based Mexican meal I've had before, the accompanying side salads also very fresh and tasty. Also sampled a nice local beer. Nice atmosphere and location with huge windows to ppl watch out of of!... More
