Summer evenings in a sublime setting

Always enjoy dining here - outside in the summer and in the cosy dining room in winter. One of the outstanding settings in the area and a pleasure to be served by pleasant and efficient staff. Good and varied menus at reasonable prices.

I ate here with my husband and a couple of our friends. The charming gentleman who welcomed us was friendly and gave us an excellent table on the terrace. The serving staff were polite and friendly, the food excellent. We passed a lovely evening in a wonderful restaurant and in a peaceful garden terrace. A must visit if you are... More

I am sorry to file a critical review when so many others have found the restaurant faultless, I guess we picked the wrong night. The setting is wonderful and the ambiance a delight. We arrive with the Patron in attendance and a staff of three that we saw. Having studied the interesting menu we opted to select from that table... More

Sir, Thank you for your visit to our restaurant, we regret not to be 100% satisfied and we thank you for your compliments on the atmosphere, and cheese. In your remarks, we guarantee that we will do our best to satisfy you next time. At your problem for wine; to complete your analysis of your dinner, it would be appropriate... More

Just had the perfect lunch, in the beautifully converted olive mill, the setting is just perfect as are the staff, we have been eating there for some years now and the standards are very high. The price may be slightly higher than some of the other local restaurants but value for money it 10/10. Only thing to remember is book... More

This Autumn I had the pleasure of dining al fresco at the Restaurant which is part of the Moulin de la Camandoule. It was a beautiful, warm day and we sat at immaculately laid-out tables under the shade of big umbrellas, sharing the ambience with a full house despite the fact that it was a Tuesday. This restaurant never fails... More

This restaurant continues to provide excellent value for money with its lunchtime formule. For the price which you would pay for a main course in some other places, you have aperitifs, amuse bouche, main course, dessert, glass of wine and coffee. How reasonable is that and the food is tasty and the ambience welcoming. Excellent service with friendly and efficient... More

Absolutely lovely restaurant in a most beautiful and scenic part of France. Wonderful food and excellent service, lunch is very popular at weekends so be sure to book in plenty of time. The menu is about €25 for 2 courses.

The evening had been booked some weeks in advance and was to be one of the highlights of our holiday. We were not disappointed. The setting has to be one of the most magnificent that we have eaten at for some time and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. We all ate from the 49 euro menu and it was... More

Visited L'Escourtin as we were attracted by a varied menu. We were not disappointed which may be a cliché however it was a very pleasurable experience on a mid-=week night under the stars on a rather nice terrace. The Euro49 menu was superb with lamb rack and lobster tails or fois gras on offer. I found some reasonably priced Provence... More

This restaurant had good reviews so we had to try it. We booked for Sunday lunch, and when I booked, I had assumed it would be served out on the terrace; however on arrival it seems food is served inside. It was quite hot that day, so maybe that was wise, but the inside seating was a bit formal. Service... More
