Those desserts...

My sister and I arrived quite late at this restaurant, yet it was crowded. What I really appreciated was the glass of prosecco on the house which fitted our arrival in San Quirico perfectly. The ambiance is really cute as the garden is set really nicely. My starter was an antipasti variation which... read more

Atmosphere is great, sitting in the garden. Almost all tables were covered, but no structure was visible who serves yours. Almost every servant has been at our table and bringing a knife, salt, olive oil or real attention to your wellbeing is missed totally. The food is good but overpriced for the regional kitchen and too many dishes you can... More

This place is lovely. beautiful garden, tortoises in the garden and has a real atmosphere. And unfortunately when we visited for lunch they were so busy it all went rather pear shaped. Our waiter seemed to disappear and the locals who were arriving in droves soaked up a lot of attention. We became somewhat of an afterthought. And for 90... More

Lovely place. Delicious homemade Italian food in a beautiful setting. Make sure you make a reservation otherwise you might not have a table in the garden. The staff is very friendly and most of the visitors were Italians which is nice and rare in summer in Tuscany.

This trattoria is a must to visit. Located in the beautiful historic town of San Quirico d'Orcia it serves excellent local food and has a selection of divine wines. We had the polenta with Tuscany sausage and porcini and a tasty prosciutto con melon as a starter and the spaghetti (they seemed to be hand made one by one) with... More

This restaurant lies in a beautiful garden surrounded by a high brick wall, creating an amazing atmosphere that could not have been matched by any other restaurant we encountered in Tuscany. The service is friendly, we received very good wine recommendations. They serve sparkling wine and a "pre-antipasto" just as you sit down, and the menu offers a very broad... More

We reserved a large table in the garden which is under a thatched roof with strung lights and candles that provides a stunning ambience. Our group raved about their meals but we agree that the cacao e pepe was the stunner - and probably the best we ate throughout Tuscany. The pastry chef prepared a delicious chocolate cake for dessert.... More

very disappointing experience. we ordered lunch and to our great disappointment the food was not at all in line with what the restaurant credentials aspire to be. the soup was re-heated (and quantities were not at all generous), the pasta was overcooked and our side dish was brought after the main course (which they served at the same time as... Spacious restaurant with beautiful toscany garden and friendly service especially for non italian speakers. We ordered a beef steak and surprisingly they served us with a special table to put the beef steak which was more than enough for two people. The chef cut the beef into slices and directly served them on our plates. Perfect, it was a right... More
