Went here for dinner with family in November 2014. The restaurant is located in an astoundingly beautiful and pristine palace, which is now owned by Taj. We were bowled over by the elegance of the palace- this will definitely be a memorable experience for you. The restaurant itself has soft lighting, embossed dinner service and live classical music. When we... More

It was really surprising to find one restaurant in a Taj property and that too without a liquor license. Same repetitive buffet breakfast every morning and the same old menu card. Well food was tasty and good. We had two breakfast and dinner here. The burger, salad and pasta was average. But we liked the Club sandwich. Breakfast menu was... More

We went to the restaurant for dinner at 9 PM. We had already booked our table. They agreed to wait for 45 minutes more than the booked time before cancelling it. This felt considerate. This place is very easy to locate as it is just adjacent to the Scindia's palace. It looks elegant , very Indian and marvellous from outside... More

Being the only restaurant at this hotel , you are bound to eat here during your stay. We had 4 breakfasts , 4 lunches and 3 dinners here , thus we tried out a lot of stuff on their menu. The menu has various options. There are certain dishes which I loved like the "Sekwa" , a fish preparation of... More

We went to the restaurant in the evening after calling. We were not allowed to get into hotel compound stating the restaurant is full. After much of convincing and showing readiness to wait we were let in. When we reached restaurant there were quite a few tables empty. Other occupied tables only have foreigners. We were told other tables were... More

Located on Ground Floor inside the Taj Usha Kiran Palace Hotel , Gwalior this is a superb fine dining restaurant with live Indian music during evenings. Interiors are quite decent with minor alterations done to retain the ethnic touch of the heritage property . Lighting mood is bright, cover size is around 50, tables laid out suitably give an open... Breakfast is really your best bet here where there is something of a spread. Otherwise the fare is rather mundane, predictable and not particularly flavorsome. It is also overpriced, but that goes for most things Taj.

We had a long leisurely lunch here---- so enjoyed the menu selection, food presentation and quality, and excellent service. Also enjoyed breakfast buffet after staying in the hotel one night. Definitely the best option-- -either inside or outside along the patio/fountain area.

I had been here for a business dinner. The palace is royal and well designed and aesthetically lit. You will see old pictures and portraits all around giving a sneak peak of the scindia family's legacy. The resto has a simple architecture but impresses you. I would like to talk more on the food now. The menu is elaborate and... More

Since we were staying at Usha Kiran, we dined at Silver Saloon. The food is simply awesome. The other restaurants in the city were simply disappointing.
