Me and my girlfriend visited this restaurant 3 times during our 2 week stay in Protaras. If you are looking for a authentic taste of Cyprus, look no further. The hospitality of the owners is amazing. We had both the Tavaz, and the Kleftiko. Hands down the best we ever tasted. We felt the warmth of the hosts. It almost... More

Family atmosphere, homemade food, not expensive, very friendly owners, Cypriot hospitality, away from the noise of downtown Protaras still very close, makes you want to return again. I have been visiting it every summer for three consecutive years

Had a fantastic meal - best stifado I've tasted - and gems of owners. Serve you their home grown olives to start and they gave us a bag of their home grown oranges when we were leaving. Take 10mins to find it - just across from lidl 's - you will not be disappointed. It was quiet when we visited,... More

This is a family run restaurant, owned by two elderly people. Mr Andreas and Mrs Alexandra are always ready to welcome people and chat with them. Lately they also have their two grown up grandchildren helping them in the kitchen and with serving. Mr Andreas is an excellent charcoal cook. I would recommend having the giant pork chop which is... Family run with a good selection of local dishes. We had the grilled fish, king prawns and a side of tomatoe salad. All were completey delicious. There was complimentary olives, bread and humous on arrival. The owners were attentive and made sure to come out to speak to all the diners. We left with a complimentary bag of oranges from... More

I agree with the previous reviewer - there is certainly no fireplace or old Mercedes at Tsolias. The reviewer obviously got the wrong restaurant!! We have been eating at this restaurant every year since it opened which is 15/16 years now. Andreas and his wife, Alex, the owners are lovely hardworking people. They are passionate about their food and Andreas... More

Horrible food, little variety, bad service. The only good thing was the fireplace. The owner insists on parking his old mercedes in front of the restaurant, making it very difficult to access the parking lot further down. The meat (Paidakia), dry and overcooked. The french fries tasteless. Water comes in small expensive bottles. Overall, a rip off. AVOID IT

After reading the reviews on here, I was determined to eat at the restaurant, and so we went looking for it one day. The best way to find it is to cut through Eden Square where the Mexican, Japanese, and Tavern are, and continue on up the lane at the back that brings you out next to Lidl. Walk to... More
