now in a great new spot on the main strip above Teejays pub. all the usual favourite dishes on offer. very reasonably priced. family friendly. very welcoming staff.
Now moved to a much better location on the main drag in Protaras above TeeJays bar. Excellent choice of curries, nans, and rice, at a very competitive price. Was busy even in late Octoberr which must be a good sign!
Visited the Raj last year not knowing it has since moved to the strip above Teejays. Food very good and prices reasonable compared with other places in Protaras. Four people at our table and all loved it. Would highly recommend and that comes from someone who is fussy about curries.
We visited protaras for two weeks in Sept - have being going to the Raj for a number of year before it moved to the main strip - if anything i think it is better now it has re-located! The staff are always friendly & polite - if you want something a little different to what's on the menu JUST... More

Returned to this restaurant to try again as it had relocated to a more central position on the strip. We were not disappointed food still superb could not fault it onion bhajis to die for and chicken tikka melted in mouth.Andreas and staff were lovely and a special mention for Mario.
The Raj has moved to the far end of the main strip (above Teejays bar), the set menu is a little move expensive than last year but it is still well worth the money (30 euros for 2 people). Believe me you will be stuffed once you've finished and it's all gorgeous. I have eaten in lots of indian restaurants... More
What's a holiday without at least one curry? Nice position just of The Strip. Good quality. No complaints with the Jalfreizi
We went to this restaurant wanting authentic Indian food thinking that's what we would get, looking at some of the negative reviews we thought maybe these were fussy customers, HOWEVER, I wish we would of paid attention! The food at best was like a curry out of a can and a 'best buy' can at that! The service was fine... More
