If you travel to Cyprus and are in Fig Tree Bay you must, MUST, spend an evening with Nicolas and his staff! We went there to sample the roast lamb and each of us consider ourselves to be lamb experts! None of us has ever had lamb so tasty, so plentiful and so tender. Nikolas's expertise and his clay ovens... More

Have to take my hat off to the chef. He met us at the door and promised the best Greek cypriot food about and he was good to his word. Best I've ever had. little bit more expensive than other places around but most definitely worth it.

Have been returning to Nicolas taverna for several years now when we visit Cyprus. The food is fantastic, we normally have a meze when we come hear as it's really nice to find a traditional taverna with such friendly staff. Nicolas always makes a point of coming over Inbetween cooking our meals for a chat and makes you feel really... More

Go and seek out this great restaurant. Big dinners all home made and delicious. Recommend the Kleftico it's to die for.

Every time we come to Cyprus, it is a tradition that we always come here for a mezze on our first, last and probably 2 other nights in between! The meat mezze is unbelievable with pitta, hummus, tzatziki, vine leaves, meatballs, pastichio, kleftiko, stifado, grilled pork and chicken plus other stuff I have probably missed, there's that much of it.... Me and my man shared a typical cypriotic meal: meeze. This is different meat cooked in a round stone oven outside in the restaurant. I think we got 12 different meats (forgot to count) and they all tasted very good! We would love to come back and taste the Meeze with fish. Our friends ordered beef and they sad it... More

I choose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday with my family. We decided to have a fish meze for this evening. What I have to say it was very good, although it was a little more expensive than in other restaurants, but it worth it. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere added our nice experience of this restaurant

We have been eating at Nicholas Tavern for years. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely gorgeous, we love it!! They serve traditional Cypriot dishes and everything is homemade, fresh and delicious. It's our favourite restaurant! Sally & Alan
