Dogs day out

This is a great pub for anyone out with their dog. We just popped in for tea & coffee but they do food as well. It is decorated in a trendy mismatched style. They have dog bowls on hand for your four-legged family members. My only criticism was my tea wasn't hot.

I visit there as often as i can, sometimes with my hubby and kids, sometimes with my mates and their dogs after a run on the beach (the dogs that is,, not us) - we meander, looking for shells. I digress. Where was I? The atmosphere is relaxing, the music is eclectically fab, the furniture is shabby-chic-gorgeous, the food is... More

We both had the " homemade" belly buster burger.. No it was not homemade!!!!!! Dry and awful very disappointed. When it says "homemade" we expect homemade not a frozen burger!

Visit this pub on a regular basis and never experience any problems here as it is usually lovely and a dog friendly atmosphere. However I visited here on Sunday afternoon for a drink with my partner and our dog, we sat on the sofas at the back where the toilets are as these were the only available seats. I ordered... More

My wife & I called at the Priory for lunch with one of our grandchildren (aged 2 1/2) on a Thursday. I had Goats Cheese tart, Mrs B had a small portion of Fish & Chips and the youngster chose Chicken Nuggets from the childrens menu. All of our meals were freshly cooked and well presented resulting in tasty, satisfying... More

We have lunch here after our walk along the beach. The staff are friendly, and offer dog biscuits, numerous dog water bowls, and best of all : blankets so my dog gets to sit up on the seat next to me, meaning no chance of her waggy tail getting stood on when it's busy. There have been some refurbs recently... More

We went in on festival day with the dog, and paid for our meal or else I'd have walked out. The waitresses were asking what they could do, but it was a cover for bad service, as they couldn't do anything. There were two different sources of music playing, so you couldn't hear either. It was just an irritating noise,... More

Myself and a friend visited here after a strenuous beach walk with the dogs, so were pretty hungry! The pub was welcoming and warm, with a relaxed atmosphere. There were a few dogs and owners sitting around too :) We ordered drinks and food at the bar, and were given some doggie treats for the guests with four paws. The... More

Really impressed with the food & service... Cheap decent pub grub! Chips are amazing! Had the chicken burger #amazeballs! Will definitely come back! Gem!
