I went with my cousin to eat at the restaurant. As always, the people in lions head were awesome, the atmosphere was good. But when it came to the portions we werent very impressed. I went there with a big appetite and ordered the chicken wings, which were around 15$ I think, and I got maybe 6 little chicken wings... More

The restaurant was about exactly what we had imagined, a rather quaint oldish hotel. We dined in the covered porch. The food was pretty good- we both had fish- but not outstanding. There was a thriving pub inside. We liked the atmosphere of the place and would go back.

Service good, prices reasonable, good quality. Friendly staff and not long to wait for food. Good choice on the menu.

We quite enjoyed it - they were quick with the order, quick with the food, it was decent quality, they provided for our 17 mo Daughter without a problem and I'd happily go again.

The night we ate here it was very busy. I had trout which was quite okay but not special. However, the borsht soup was excellent. My husband had the perch and it wasn't very good. But we did see some salads at other tables that looked good and our impression was that they really cared about their food.

Authentic pub! Bit expensive but the real deal so worth it. Asked if we could sit out with the dog and the landlord was really accommodating and considerate...an understanding dog lover.

Food was nice, well presented but over-priced. I had grilled atlantic salmon and received a tiny piece of fish. It tasted good but for $20 was expecting a slightly larger piece. My daughters had excellent home-made fish fingers and fries but my wife thought her char-grilled burger which was more burnt that char-grilled. Drinks were also over-priced, beer and a... More

We arrived at 6:30 and i did not have my starter salad until 50 minutes later. It seems kitchen does not how to coordinate orders among tables. Appetizer arrived 20 minutes after the salad. I ordered whitefish dinner, the size of fish was small. The portion is Much smaller than Henry's(midland, ontario) which charges a similar price.

Ordered the beef taco salad in an edible plate and it was beautifully presented and delicious too. Friendly service and good advice given regarding choice of beverage.
