Stopped in for lunch today for a change of pace during our stay in the cottage on the Bruce Peninsula. We shared the appetizer of Sheperd's Pie in "Yorkies". The 3 small Yorshire puddings filled with meat, gravy and mashed potatoes was very tasty, great texture and presentation made it so enticing. We shared a small salad with the house... More

Perfect after a long route to the peninsula from Montreal! Awesome burger and sandwiches. Good local beer.

Lovely is the first word that springs to mind second is try-the-food ! HEY fellow Brits Lions Head has a British pub and I'm not joking - no strip mall dodgy pub or corporate giant - just a regular pub felt really homesick ! so sorry we didn't have time to try the awesome food menu we just had drinks... Menu choices are limited, upper end of price range, but the food was good. Especially liked their signature garlic bread

This is pretty much the only place that was open after 8 pm in Lion's Head. It's located right by the harbour/beach park, and it has a great location. I would have to say that it's pricey for the small portions you get, especially because it is pub food that is starchy, deep fried and salted. The server was really... More

Dropped in for a late lunch/early dinner. Had a hard time picking something to order as I don't eat red meat and the selection other than red meat is VERY limited. Hubby ordered a burger with sweet potato fries and I ordered the fish and chips also with sweet potato fries. Be aware that sweet potato fries are a ridiculous... More

Food is reasonable. Have been several times. Servers are pleasant and prompt. Once was charged extra for a small 'extra' container of plum sauce for chicken fingers. Not impressed. Dessert was not that great.

I went with my cousin to eat at the restaurant. As always, the people in lions head were awesome, the atmosphere was good. But when it came to the portions we werent very impressed. I went there with a big appetite and ordered the chicken wings, which were around 15$ I think, and I got maybe 6 little chicken wings... More

The restaurant was about exactly what we had imagined, a rather quaint oldish hotel. We dined in the covered porch. The food was pretty good- we both had fish- but not outstanding. There was a thriving pub inside. We liked the atmosphere of the place and would go back.
