Had a table of 10 for my eldest sons birthday. The meals were all very nice and we all received our meals at the same time. Everyone had an empty plate at the end! The cost was very reasonable. Would definitely go again!

As far as I could see Queenborough has only three pubs in the small centre, and this is the largest and the only one which also acts as a restaurant. Having said that, we only went in for a couple of drinks so I can’t comment on the food. The pub is situated in the high street near the slipway... More

It is hard to find anywhere reasonable to eat in Queensborough and the Fllying Dutchman appeared, and probably is, the best place to eat. The service was friendly and efficient and our starters came quite quickly and was OK. For the main course we had both chosen steak. It was very poor quality and only about half was actually eatable.... More

Good home cooked food, friendly staff! Opens a monday night. My husbands steak and ale pie was obviously home made with large pieces of steak, very testy. My jacket potato was smothered in prawns and very soft, perfect

Sunday carvery - not the best we've ever had, but it filled a hungry hole. The meat was good; there were the usual sauces whaich went down well, but the vegetables were badly cooked. Hopefully we just picked a bad day - there were plenty of customers, so it must have a good name locally.

My family has enjoyed going to the flying dutchmen for a very long time. I know that it's now owned by different people. (Who are really friendly.) I've always looked forward to the food here but i was disappointed for the very first time ever. The chips i had looked like old oven chips and my salad was a little... More

Due to the other good reviews was looking forward to my visit when I arrived hungry with some friends. Did not have a great experience, hardly any staff available, and the person on the bar made it feel like an inconvenience to have customers. The tables were sticky and were left uncleared dirty plates do not leave me filled with... More

Went to the pub/restaurant as was recommended by the mother in law. When you pull up it doesn't look all that impressive as it is hidden away right down the bottom of a road that leads to the docks. However the garden looked pleasant so we went in! Inside was massive & nice and roomy. The carvery was a bargain... More
