We had a roast about an hour ago. Absolutely yummy. Love the place. Carvery is now £4.95 Mon. to Sat.now. (Don't know what price is on a Sunday) A tasty roast, nice staff and been greatly brightened up. We went last week too,and we'll be going back!

Having many times going to the island and people talking about the flying Dutchman I finally got to try it myself. On a Tuesday night you can get a carvery for 4.95 how good is that? It was so nice and so fresh. Cant wait to go again. If you go on a Monday its 3.95 even better.

We were struggling a bit on Sheppey to find a family eatery and luckily stumbled on this. Plain and little old fashioned but welcomimg nevertheless. We had roasts for 3, kids roast and a kids pasta dish for 35 pounds. Decent selection of ales think they were 3.20, we would go again if in that area.

Had lunch at The Flying Dutchman and the food and service were very good. Menu was very good and catered for the 'gluten intolerant' and vegetarian among us!

Having read your remarks we have to ask why you have waited until your third visit to give us a bad review instead of giving us a good review after your lovely first visit. Do you only give negative feedback? More

I've visited the Flying Dutchman numerous times over the years & the latest owner has got it right... Especially the roast dinners served every night for an amazing price - it varies depending on the day you go but superb value with fresh cooked vegetables & a choice of three meats... You honestly couldn't cook a roast dinner for less... More
