We cannot believe we have only just found this superb restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and the welcome by owners genuine. We had the mid-week special offer - wine and steak and chips for two for £25. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the house wine was excellent. This is a gem of a place - it's a bar, then upstairs, a restaurant AND an art gallery! We really enjoyed the attentive service and an excellent lunch, perfectly cooked - looking at the paintings and sculptures in the current exhibition added another enjoyable dimension.
