Everything here is bespoke and.homemade - even the take away boxes. In the most idyllic location, come here on your way to the ferry instead of having to queue there! Thanks Helsa på!

We went here following some good reviews and were not disappointed. We had gazpacho soup followed by a vegetarian buffet. It was 120 kronor each, a bit over £10 but in Sweden that s very cheap. The place is quirky and in true vegetarian restaurant style nothing matches. The food was however delicious and there was a lot of choice... More

A beautiful room, filled with wonderful art work to keep your eyes busy while you enjoy the tasty, fresh, clean food. A delightful find!

Absolutely love this place. Great sandwiches and great staff. Nice location in historical building. The best café in Ystad!

I thought after reading about it in the local news paper and on trip adviser , i too would give it a go! Well I/we were not jumping for joy over the food, yes it is vegetarian, yes the court yard is beautiful. Food was boring , lack of taste , spice and yes i can do better at home,... More

We came to Ystad for a day trip from Copenhagen and wanted to try this place for lunch. We arrived at around 12.30 but the promised vegetarian buffet (see other reviews) was nowhere to be found. The only choice we had were cakes and open sandwiches (most of the latter were fish). I don't know what time they put the... More

The food here is always good, always home made, often organic, which explains why it has become an obvious choice for our saturday lunches when in Ystad. Good place for families too.

As a vegetarian who has at least annually visited Sweden since 1993, I'm used to finding it near impossible to eat out at a restaurant with my family. Even the establishments that have the usual, single, vegetarian option, can't be trusted to understand what being vegetarian really means. Even if Helsa Pa was not particularly good, I'd probably still give... More

On a recent holiday, my wife and I left the kids with their grandparents and had a day looking round Ystad. I've been on a gluten free diet for 40 years and found Swedish lunches to be generally heavy on the bread and my wife has vegetarian tendencies, so to see a cafe advertising gluten free and vegetarian food, it...
