Pleasant walk at low tide - wear sensible shoes

I have a small painting of Ilot St Michel, done by a local artist. There is a natural causeway between the beach near les Hopitaux & the island, safe for an hour or so each side of low tide. The little church on the island is delightful with stained glass windows & an orientation table. Well worth... read more

Whilst walking the beautiful coastal path around Cap de Erquy this little restaurant/bar is a must. There is no better place to while away an hour than this reasonably priced eatery on a sunny day overlooking le petit mount Saint-Michel.

Good fun crosssing onto the island at low tide, less fun crossing back when the tide was coming back in. You need to ensure you are back by the time it 'recouverts'. We then went to the creperie and the food was OK and more than just a creperie with Moules and Frites on offer. Some reviewers had said that... More

We had an excellent meal here. Service was slow but absolutely worth it! The moules-frites are great. All crepes were a big hit and the freshly caught fish very good. There were plenty of family groups eating here with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Staff were lovely and helpful. Issue for several of our party re gluten intolerance. We had phoned... More

Slap bang on a fantastic beach with magnificent views, this is basically moules and crepes with a daily fish speciality. A warm welcome from madame and her friendly, enthusiastic young staff. Satisfying servings of mussels with big fat chips, although the mussels were small. Galettes were standard, very nice. Wide variety of ice creams etc for dessert. Great ambiance, relaxing... More

We cycled here from Erquy to have a spot of lunch. I had some oysters which tasted fresh. Others had salad and the dish of the day which looked lovely. One massive downside was that my husband went to the toilet and reported back that there was faeces on the toilet seat. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable and reflects... More

We've eaten in a few places around Erquy on our holiday but my husband believes this place does the best Moules - it was sweet and salty and just perfect! The service was excellent, very understanding of our broken french and the lady who owns the place spoke perfect english. Huge selection of crepes and ice creams for dessert, and... More

I have been looking for a rustic restaurant, with great views and reasonably priced food for over 10 years in Brittany (22) that we could take friends and family to for and lazy lunches with great views of the sea 1 Le Petit Saint-Michel has the lot, moules frites €8.80, freshly made crepes and always a special of the day,... We were staying down the coast from this place which is off the beaten track but convenient for the fine beach nearby and the Ilot St Michel which is very picturesque. Charming staff it has to be said, but quite basic food. However at under 10 euros for moules frites, it is well priced. We hadn't booked on a Saturday... More
