A little restaurant hidden in between the small streets of Mazara del Vallo. Generally praised for the sea food couscous, but also the other dishes are super tasty. The owner is very friendly and helped us choosing depending our preferences. Even though the place us supposed to be open for lunch and dinner only, it seems to be open all... More

A hidden gem down one of the side streets in Mazaro, the Alla Kasbah was for us a cous cous celebration - all four of us had it, with vegetables or with lamb - and none of us were disappointed!

In the streets of the Kasbah district in Mazara del Vallo, this restaurant proposes good and well prepared food, fresh fish and very nice atmosphere. Mazara is nice because is still a bit wild, not that turistic and for that reason allow everyone to perceive the real sicilian feelings, and the food is, of course, a fundamental part of them.... We initially only visited Mazara to have a look at the fishery but discovered it to be a jewel of a town. We visited Erice on the same trip, a beautiful mountain top village smothered to death by tourism. Mazara is no less beautiful in my view and is very much a real place. Wandering around its beautiful piazzas and... More

Lovely food, cous cous was perfect, fish soft, tender and full of flavour. Polite friendly staff, clean toilets, nice seating outside. Simply a lovely meal and fairly priced. Will go back again. Thanks for a good experience!

After having choosen a local classical wine Nero d Avola, received a caraf of bad wine, two primi piatti with no taste and no flavour, we asked for the bill. The owner tried to serve us with the entire bill and started insulting the french (thinking we were french). Bad attitude and taking tourists for idiots.

Loved the Italian Food served with a very Arabian feel, very unique. Reminded me of a visit to Instanbul the way the chairs are outside, and the people were smoking hookas in Instanbul, but not here, very unique as well as classy restaurant.

Located in an atmospheric alley with indoor and outdoor seating close to the main piazza in Mazara del Vallo, this restuarant had very good seafood and great service. This city is a major fishing port for Siciliy, so this restorante was a perfect location to try a variety of local marine dishes with the famous regional specialty cous-cous. As with... More

Charming setting in a little street in the heart of the old town. Fresh fish that changes daily based on the catch of the day ('il pescato') and puddings to die for (almond parfait and cassata over all) set this restaurant on top of the list of our Sicilian tour at a very reasonable price.

What a great restaurant! We walked in when the restaurant was practiatcally still closed. It was still 12:15 on a hot Tuesday afternoon and yet the host and owner, who had been clearly in the kitchen preparing for lunch, welcomed us warmly, gave us a table and got us our drinks straightaway. Rather apologeticalliy, he explained that he was still... More
