Every time I'm in Ramallah, tis is the place to stop - either an evening meal and chill, or afternoon just hanging out. A friendly crowd of internationals and Palestinians, great food and really friendly staff. Sitting outside, chilling with a few friends...anywhere else we would have outstayed our welcome. But the home-going staff just asked us to turn out... More

I love Cafe La Vie and eat there as often as possible. While the place can be tricky to find, once you do, you will feel like you've discovered a treasure that you'll want to share with all your friends. They have great events during the summer -- movie nights and live music, and during the winter there's a cozy... More

I stopped by Café La Vie to drop off some preserved lemons I had promised the owners and what I discovered was a lovely, chilled place full of interesting people - mainly Palestinians; some internationals. The staff are warm and welcoming - as are all Palestinians - and one even offered me his bed when I was particularly disorganized and... More

If you are looking to duck in out of the noise and traffic of this busy city, look no further than Cafe La Vie. The setting is an outdoor garden dining area. The food is excellent and the homemade deserts are the finest. Each dish is crafted with care and flavor in mind. Also they use their own home grown... More

The waiters are so sweet and friendly. The salads are delicious and fresh. The outdoor seating is blissful. Sitting at a table here for an hour is as relaxing as a yoga session.

You won't find Ramallah's elite here, thank goodness! Not only is the atmosphere relaxed and the owner serves with a smile and desire to please, but the food is the best I've had in Ramallah. Quality is excellent, flavors are diverse, and it has extensive vegetarian options. Don't miss out on their desserts. Only downside is how smokey it can... More

First thing - try their cakes! So many delicious varieties that seem to change all the time. This is a great little place with a nice garden patio, located in what seems like a former house. A nice relaxed place to have a coffee or beer with friends, but also great food. Their salads are very good (especially the avocado... More
