Good terrace and food

Very nice seating outside, good selections of beer( I particularly recommend trying out the local beer from berzeit called shepherds the blonde variety), good cakes and specials, worth checking out and going back again

Spent a lovely morning under the lacy shade of an olive tree eating a great omelet and drinking tea.

Really enjoy La Vie. Great food, locally grown and sourced. The owner even grows many items in the back of the restaurant. The garden is beautiful and is excellent for hanging out and relaxing.

Ramallah remains an anomaly in the West Bank thanks to the large number of NGOs, aid organizations, the Palestinian Authority governmental agencies, and the consequent demand for indigenous and international foods. And while international visitors and workers do seek out the Palestinian restaurants in town--great variety of foods and levels of quality--a spot like La Vie seems a necessary refuge... More

This place has ambiance. The garden is beautiful and a bit secluded. The indoors is cosy (warm, red interior), a mix of tables, booths (super comfy) and nice chairs. The music is mostly good, sometimes they play bad 80's American music (not the good stuff), but you can always ask them to change it. Sometimes Arabic music. Despite the smokers... More

We went to this cafe/restaurant based on strong recommendations from a local and good friend. It is tucked away near the center on Qastel st; as such it is an intimate, relaxed and beautiful environment that caters to an eclectic clientele; including many foreigners. The beer on draft, such as San Miguel, is nice. Our waiter was not particularly attentive... More

Cafe La Vie is a must for any trip to Ramallah. The owner, Saleh, an incredibly friendly and quirky guy, has lived his whole life in the house where his cafe exists. He and his smiley wife Morgan have created a beautiful little world for any friend of Palestine to come experience. Quiet and peaceful during the day with an... More
