This place has ambiance. The garden is beautiful and a bit secluded. The indoors is cosy (warm, red interior), a mix of tables, booths (super comfy) and nice chairs. The music is mostly good, sometimes they play bad 80's American music (not the good stuff), but you can always ask them to change it. Sometimes Arabic music. Despite the smokers... More

We went to this cafe/restaurant based on strong recommendations from a local and good friend. It is tucked away near the center on Qastel st; as such it is an intimate, relaxed and beautiful environment that caters to an eclectic clientele; including many foreigners. The beer on draft, such as San Miguel, is nice. Our waiter was not particularly attentive... More

Cafe La Vie is a must for any trip to Ramallah. The owner, Saleh, an incredibly friendly and quirky guy, has lived his whole life in the house where his cafe exists. He and his smiley wife Morgan have created a beautiful little world for any friend of Palestine to come experience. Quiet and peaceful during the day with an... More

Slightly hidden cafe and restaurant with amazing outdoor seating in the garden. You can meet a mix of expats and locals there. International and local cuisine. We had some beers, burgers, haloumi cheese, chicken, pasta and shisha that lasted for eternity. Service was great. Free wifi.

Excellent menu from locally sourced & grown produce. Lemonade with mint was very good. Really enjoyed the cheeseburger with fries. Owners really cool and helpful & very well informed re local activities & politics. Nice chilled out ambience. You must visit.

Every time I'm in Ramallah, tis is the place to stop - either an evening meal and chill, or afternoon just hanging out. A friendly crowd of internationals and Palestinians, great food and really friendly staff. Sitting outside, chilling with a few friends...anywhere else we would have outstayed our welcome. But the home-going staff just asked us to turn out... More

I love Cafe La Vie and eat there as often as possible. While the place can be tricky to find, once you do, you will feel like you've discovered a treasure that you'll want to share with all your friends. They have great events during the summer -- movie nights and live music, and during the winter there's a cozy... More
