We stopped at this restaurant for lunch. Did not want too much so my wife opted for the fried squid Andalusian style, which she quite enjoyed, and I had the Menorcan Fish Soup. Unfortunately this was very bland, not a lot of fish and had lots of fish scales in it. Nice atmosphere, good service so shame food disappointing

We (one English, one Spanish half of couple 50ish and 50) arrived for a week in Fornells without having checked out TA reviews in advance (schoolboy error) but the owner of our rented house recommended Es Port. We had four evening and one lunchtime meals out in Fornells and this was the best. We were, in the nicest possible way,... More

We had the “caldereta de pescado" and it was kind of a normal fish soup. we had to wait for half an hour till they brought us the starters since we ordered. Not bad but not very good.

Actually ate somewhere else the first day I visited fornells, and walked passed this restaurant later, everyone looked extremely pleased and the food looked delicious, so ventured back a few days later and was impressed thoroughly! Highly recommend to visitors x

I have lost count how many times we have enjoyed Sunday afternoon at Es Port. It is THE place to dine with the locals and avoid the tourist traps. The service is faultless and the fish and seafood is amazing. Don't visit if you intend to go with the set menu (I have to say I didn't eve know they... More

I'll be fair at the start and admit we went with the daily set menu, rather than the full menu. But this was our worst meal of our 10 day break (which included other daily menu's at other establishments) Service was a huge let down, we had to ask specially to view the set menu's and then remind them about... Food is good, but a bit pricey for what you get. They even charged for some dry bread that came with the soup!

My partner and I had a meal in this restaurant as we wanted a restaurant that was a spanish, family run restaurant. The other restaurants near by had more modern decor and a bit fancier but that is reflected in their prices!! The food at Es Port is fab and the service is very good! a proper family run littel... If you are wanting the freshest of seafood, cooked simply as it should be, then plan to pay this family run restaurant a visit. Fish cooked in a salt crust was divine and melted in the mouth. Home made ice cream for dessert was the nicest I have ever eaten ( a secret family recipe apparently!) Very popular with locals... More
