We had lunch on a rainy day and the view was still great. Sicilian antipasti, pastas, meat dishes (the one they serve on a salt slab was great). No pizzas for lunch :( Can easily recommend this. Service was slow, but then they did have a group of some 60 people which they accommodated parallel to us and since they... More

The terrace of this restaurant has a panoramic view of Palermo to die for, day or night. We at there twice. The first time we had the most expensive fish appetizer, followed by two more courses, and were impressed with the former and moderately satisfied with the latter. The second time just about everything was awful: the service was excruciatingly... More

Veeery good, but we were in a hurry...the food LOOKS very nice, but for the taste I can't say anything special...it is good, but especially nice to see, the taste is quite..average. They have a nice view on Palermo. Oh, the service is perfect, in every moment there is someone for sure, three waiters are walking around, checking if you... More

Very good service but be aware they don't open until about 8:30pm. There was a large party there but this did not affect the good service. Seafood fixed menu was delightful and included very large servings (we could have shared a meal and been well fed. Very nice view from the terrace too!

When we visited this restaurant there was also a large family party taking place which I think is common for this restaurant - it certainly added interest to the evening. The service was very friendly and the food was good - we ate from the €18 prezzo fisso menu. The antipasti was very good, primi piatti passable and secondi good.... More

we were recommended by the owner of the eldest bakery in town, Modena (off the beaten path, two blocks) and we went there recommended by the cathedral administrator. The locale is excellent, not a tourist place, but a restaurant. The owners and son take care of you. Service is great, the view "superb". The food delicious. Overlooking Palermo. Unbelievable prices.

We usually avoid any restaurant directly on the tourist trail from coach park to major attraction but made an exception for il Giardino degli Aranci because of reviews on here and the stunning location looking across the valley beyond Monreale. It turned out to be a delight. Charming service from Giuseppe, good food (the patatini were specially good) and a... More

We were reccommended by the manager of the hotel. Went to have dinner and was really good. Full of people of Monreale. Which tells you it is good. The next day we return to have lunch

we were a bit reluctant to go to Giardino Degli Aranci after reading the reviews here, some complained about slow service, others about "tourist trap" pricing, but the location is so beautiful we decided to give it a chance. what a pleasant surprise - food was good, service very attentive and quick, the prices for both food and wine were...
