My husband and I had the last lunch of our vacation here. We were sorry that we hadn't stopped in earlier at the start of our vacation. It was a quick simple lunch but delicious and VERY REASONABLE. more

The Flying Fish Restaurant in the Yellowbird Hotel in the Gap was the best restaurant of our trip. My wife and I spotted this place on a walk around the Gap. We decided to save this until the last night and I'm glad we did. We walked up and made a reservation earlier in the day without issues. They had... more

This was our first meal in Barbados after a very long day of traveling. We were greeted by a friendly server whom I believe may have been the bartender as well. The service, food, value and ambiance were all perfect. There was only other table that night, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. This is where I... more

The food here is awesome. It is dirt cheap, and specializes in the local flying fish. They do it in a ton of different ways. Its located right next to davids at the opening of the gap. You have a nice view of the water, and have open air seating that is covered. They also do local steal drumming on... more

We went to Flying Fish on a Wednesday hoping to hear the live music that is supposed to be playing every Wednesday and Friday. Upon arriving, we were the only people in the restuarant and we were told the band would not be playing that night. The menu offered a variety of local and some international dishes, but it was... more

We always make sure we go to Flying Fish when in Barbados. Very good food at great prices. Lots of different things to order to suit everyone, but some of the best flying fish in Barbados. We have been for breakfast, lunch and dinner over the years that we have been going to Barbados and have always been served great... more

I've been visiting Flying Fish for a few years now and the food/drinks are consistently good, so I felt it time to write a review. During our last trip (22-Apr to 13-May) we visited the restaurant 3 times and each time was either a wednesday or saturday so they had a steel pan man playing, which was lovely. The current... more

Food that the children like and eat is always a bonus but food we loved too - especially the rasta pasta, sunday roast beef, seafood gumbo, and catch of the day was all gorgeous with sides to die for. We've never had a bad meal from these fabulous hosts! more

Four of us went to this restaurant on a whim one evening, and for $40 Barbados (about $20USD) the dinner special was a fantastic deal. Flying Fish prepared three different ways, with a side of veggies plus the local staple, macaroni pie. Dinner also included a rum punch (but watch out - they really do pack a "punch!") The food... more
