Other restaurants told us that Waterside, with gates barred and debris piling up inside had failed. Certainly no life visible during the week we were there. The sign outside was illuminated but nothing else. The menu board had a display but it never changed.

The staff at our hotel recommended this restaurant, for our last night in Barbados. The meal and the service was impeccable! This was a wonderful dining experience, overlooking the water. I didn't find that the portions were small. We had the crab cakes as an appetizer and I was full off of the salmon, potatoes and asparagus. My meal was... More

Beautiful location right on the water. Excellent food. Would have returned but was closed on Monday.

Visited here twice while staying nearby, set right on the ocean front, on the first visit we were the only people in but on our 2nd visit it was full, we ended sitting out overlooking the beach and watched the turtles. The only thing I would say is check your bill on the second visit we had problems when being... More

Staff was okay. The food was amazing! I had the duck, loved it. The view is wonderful if you can get a good table. The only bad thing about it is the service is extremely slow. Like BEYOND slow. So don't go there hungry. Make sure you have a snack before you go because it'll be a while!

We were told to try this restaurant by some people from our hotel. We asked for a beach seat and the view was beautiful. Portions are very small for the prices. I had the Coconut Shrimp and I couldn't even taste any coconut. Bubba's shrimp was way better. My husband had a Ceasar , which he liked but he ordered... More

My wife and I ate at Waterside three times in one week on our recent trip to Barbados. We loved the food, the people, and the setting. Erica and everyone else we had the pleasure to speak with at the restaurant were warm and friendly, adding icing to the cake of delicious food.

Not very impressed with this restaurant's menu. Location is fantastic - overlooking Caribbean sea. Food mediocre - not what we expected. Would not recommend. There are other restaurants along The Gap that are much better than this one.

Restaurant has a great setting, wonderful views above the sea. But the food is terrrible and its hugely overpriced. Starter of lobster ravioli turned up and it was like soup. How could you go wrong with coconut shrimp? Oversalted and soggy rice. We couldnt eat half out food. And this meal was our most expensive of the holiday, even more... More

We dined here for the second time on our recent trip to Barbados. The food is excellent. Upscale presentation and delicious preparation. The prices are a bit higher than many restaurants on The Gap, but the restaurant rivals most in NYC and Boston and is priced accordingly. It's worth it! The venue is magnificent. Romantic, elegant.
