I've eaten here a few times and found it superb so was really looking forward to dinner on Wednesday night but discovered it has closed down. I can only hope Sheila will re-open elsewhere as this was truly a gem.

We came over from Hamilton for a pampering weekend. we love the Spas. It was our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We had Dinner at Berlusconi Restaurant. When we arrived it was very busy the atmosphere unbelievable the place was full of happy diners and the decor was well fitted out with an Italian theme, loved the Chandeliers. We were greeted as... We recently had dinner at Berlusconi and found the food lovely. My husband had lamb shanks and I had a sirloin steak and both meals were cooked well. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our 7 year old and we found the whole night very enjoyable. Would recommend.

I took my partner there for a surprise birthday dinner. We were met by a cheerful, well dressed lady who looked after us beautifully all night. The main meals were delicious and the desserts sweet and well presented. As this is fine dining the portion sizes are not huge but we left completely satisfied.

The decor is nice but the tables are small and cramped and the place is draughty. The manager Sheena thinks she does a great job but really she is tense and uptight to be around. The service is unpolished but the prices do not reflect this. It seems a difficult place to eat, needing to request salt and pepper, a... More

This was our second visit to this restaurant. The Scottish proprietor greeted us with her usual warm friendliness. This place is nicely fitted out, is spotlessly clean, and the food is generous and of a high standard. Our group had chicken wraps, mushrooms on toast and baked potato. We shared a rhubarb crumble for dessert. All were good. They do way... More

We had a very nice dinner, with excellent service and friendly conversation from Sheena. But the standout item for me was the dessert of rice pudding with tempura banana and tempura dates. Recommended.

After walking up to lookout and swimming at the pools we needed somewhere for lunch. Very good service and great pizza for four hungry people. Hostess was helpful and attempted to get meals for the kids out quickly.

We were passing through Te Aroha and thought we'd try Berlusconi for a late lunch. Only one other group in the restaurant, so we were not sure what to expect. However, our lunch was very tasty. When I ordered a pizza for myself I was warned 'they are huge'. And they are - easily can feed two people. I liked... More

This little restaurant on the main street of town gave us a very pleasant surprise with good food at reasonable prices. We weren't expecting much when we walked in for lunch, but were very happy with the choices and the result.
