I ate here with some other members of the family, and I have to say that it was seriously underwhelming. I didn't foot the bill on this occasion, so I can't say anything about value for money, but given the quality of the food - it wouldn't really make much difference. A majority of the meals served were over cooked,... More

Just finished our meal at Biztro, and we had such a lovely meal, i had to write about it. First impressions from walking in were lovely. Greeted by Bizz, the owner. We were promtly shown to our table and offered drinks. Try the cotswold lager, its great. We had bread and olives at the table with balsamic and olive oil... More

We recently dined at Biztro in Bampton, a quaint Oxfordshire village in the Cotswolds. The restaurant is in a lovely old building and there was a warm, lively atmosphere as most tables had diners when we arrived. Starters - we both chose the Moules Marinière. When the dishes turned up they smelt delicious, but I subsequently discovered a number of... More

Dear JBizzzay Thank you for you review. You have asked me to respond so I will do my best. I am sorry that you found the meal less than perfect. However, you did eat it and appeared to be happy at the time. Firstly you mention the moules mariniere, this can be cooked with shallots or onion. If you Google... More

We had our Grand daughters christening at the Biztro yesterday there were 50 of us and as it was a sunny afternoon we were able to take full advantage of the lovely garden. We were really well looked after by Bizz and the girls who work with her and as a family we enjoyed it so much our son has... More

We had dinner at Biztro last week. The food and servive were great. It is a casual restaurant with top quality food. We had the risotto with asparagus and a salad with chicken and bacon. Risotto had a nice lemon zest to it. Salad greens were wonderful, and the chicken was not overcooked (something that I find all too often).... More

We wanted to stay at the Wheelgate House B&B but it was fully booked when I phoned, so as the restaurant looked good we tried that instead. It turned out they had cancellations for the accommodation but too late for us which was a pity as it looked lovely and what we ended up in was grim. Before deciding on... More

Visited this place twice in the last month, food, service atmosphere all excellent. The place has really upped its game and its well worth going out of your way for. Definitely holds its own amongst the best in West Oxfordshire. Well done.

We stayed at the Biztro our first night in England. It was built in the 1740's! It has a lot of character! The beds were comfortable, the food was good. Our room had low ceilings, so not recommended for tall people!
