NOT QUITE THE PERFECT PLAICE ?!

Guided by the many reviews on here, I had made sure that one evening of a short stay in St Florent was allocated for a "posh" Dinner here - best to choose an overcast evening as no sunset in this otherwise delightful courtyard restaurant. Stylish, sophisticated but yet somehow just a bit too slick. Great fish soup and tuna carpaccio... More

We were there with children. They were anyway very kind with us. Very good food in an amazing garden than you cannot imagine from outside. Fresh seafood, creative kitchen, good local wines. Good place to recommend. Not too touristic which is good.

We were recommended this restaurant by a local and it was so good. Hidden behind the local fishshop is a courtyard that has to be seen to be believed!! We loved the food, its expensive but great for special occasions. Treat yourself.

Lovely family meal here. Chose the salt baked sea bass which was superb and arrived still in it's crust to be opened at the table. All the food was exceptionally well prepared and delicious. An expensive treat for a holiday.

Had a delicious thun tartare. Later a teriaki thun fish which was good too. My partner had a thun carpaccio and and a (big) squid with baked potatoes (very spicy and with saffran) found them to heavy for the stomach and not interesting like taste. Enrering in the restaurant you pass infront of the fridges, from outside the place looks... More

Had a wonderful meal in this very eclectic restaurant. Hidden behind a fish shop surround opening up into a very interesting garden restaurant we enjoyed oysters, then tuna carpaccio and seafood soup starters, loup and tuna. Superbly cooked and presented. Good, unobtrusive service and a lovely bottle of wine. Well recommended.

We found this place four years ago, were impressed, went back last night. They are now famous, full up with rich yacht owners and became arrogant. The garden setting behind a fish shop is unique, food still very good, the tuna tartare first class, the sea bass cooked in salt great... only a little problem: price for it is €9... More

I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor, quite by chance! It is a hidden Oasis, behind a wet fish shop. The garden is Palm trees, soft lights and water features! We had Sea Bass served in a salt crust for two, it was beautifully presented and served. Overall it was a wonderful experience, you shouldn't miss if you are staying... More

There really is a wonderful restaurant in a garden setting complete with palm trees, bamboo and waterfalls behind that shiny fish counter. Incredibly fresh fish -- we had the whole fish of the day baked in a salt crust with a tuna carpaccio to start. Service was a tiny bit off only because it wasn't clear who was in charge... More
