I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor, quite by chance! It is a hidden Oasis, behind a wet fish shop. The garden is Palm trees, soft lights and water features! We had Sea Bass served in a salt crust for two, it was beautifully presented and served. Overall it was a wonderful experience, you shouldn't miss if you are staying... More

There really is a wonderful restaurant in a garden setting complete with palm trees, bamboo and waterfalls behind that shiny fish counter. Incredibly fresh fish -- we had the whole fish of the day baked in a salt crust with a tuna carpaccio to start. Service was a tiny bit off only because it wasn't clear who was in charge... More

Elegant, curiously ina patio just behind the fisherman's shop. Good food, good service, loved the decoration, good price for what it is. Olive oil icecream for foreigners is smth to try.

We were recommended to go to l"Auberge du Pecheur by Tintin the taxi driver who met us at Bastia airport. He warrants a review on his own! It was described as the restaurant at the back of the fish shop! We went, anticipating basic tables, service etc etc and good fish. What a surprise. At "the back of the fish... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel and did not disappoint! The ambience was fantastic in the back garden behind the fish shop. Impeccable service and excellent selection of very fresh fish. The tuna carpaccio was delicious as was my main - fresh "liche" which I had never tried before. Excellent wine selection and fantastic lemon gelato to... More

This is the best fish restaurant I have been to anywhere! I had tuna carpaccio to start and grilled tuna for main course. Both excellent, the fish fresh from the local sea. Great service and environment. Try it.

If you love fresh well-prepared fish, this is the place to be. One does not expect an exotic spot behind the fish shop. Minor remark: courses came too quickly and waiters were too pushy and not attentive. Overall the best seafood restaurant in Saint-Florent.

The modest fish shop entrance betrays the treat hidden behind! This is one of the best in St Florent although it was let down slightly by certain aspects of the service. Another slightly worrying element was the provision of a bottle of mozzy repellant on each table! On arrival we were shown to a lovely table in this leafy haven... More

Tucked away behind the fish shop away from the town centre is Auberge du Pecheur. The garden it is set in is very nice and there is more a fine dining experience than the harbour restaurants. The staff are obviously better trained also which adds to the service element, although not spot on - we arrived as a couple with... More
