In October we have stayed to Saint Florent for one week. During this time we had every eveining dinner in another restaurant. We have also visited the Restaurant L'Arriere Cour. The food was delicous. The service was friendly. The ambience of the backyard is amazing and very special.

We spent a lovely evening sitting in the courtyard of this restaurant eating and drinking traditional Corsican food and wine. We started with an aperitif of the well known Muscat from Patrimonio which was most enjoyable. Then we shared a plate of beignets of courgettes, followed by a pork in lentil stew and a tagine of chicken with raisons and... More

This restaurant deserves its reputation on Trip Advisor, Guide du routard, etc. You'll spend there a cool moment for a price in the range of 20-25€: authentic and very good local cuisine, an attentive service and a privileged quiet and fresh place that differs from the crowdy and hot restaurants located along the (close) port. Call them to reserve a... More

This family restaurant served up the largest portions we encountered on our trip, prepared by an authentic Corsican mama. Very welcoming staff. Sitting in the courtyard is pleasant. Worth one visit but not more.

We had a lovely dinner there sharing the Corsican meat starter which was a very tasty selection of meats with fresh bread. We followed this with rabbit and pasta and a chicken tagine which was absolutely delicious. Service was fine for this pre summer season. Would certainly recommend having dinner here due to the lovely eclectically decorated courtyard.

This is the place to go to experience genuine Corsican food, served in generous quantities and at a reasonable price. It is not fine dining for you will be seated at rickety tables and chairs in a back yard - hence the name of the restaurant. We started off with charcuterie and a Corsican salad followed by the most delicious... More

The food was not that great and the service a bit slow... it took 20 minutes to get our order taken. But the decor is fun ...

On the first night of a hastily planned week-long bike trip to Corsica, we explored the dining options in this appealing costal town, and were pleasantly rewarded by an excellent introduction to Corsican cuisine at L'ArrIere Cour. True to its name, most of the fifty-odd seats are in a cozy and whimsically decorated courtyard, about 75% full on a mid-May... More
