Good food in a quirky garden setting

We were anxious to try this restaurant from the reviews we had read, and were grateful to the maitre'd for finding us a table for two on a busy night. The courtyard garden was a lovely space, full of atmosphere and with plenty of talking points on the walls! The portions were very generous, and the... read more

We went last night early as we thought with a very small frontage it may be small inside but it goes back a long way. We arrived at 7.10pm to find the entry barred by a chair with a sign saying open at 7pm! We did get in however and it was well worth it. My wife chose salad Francesca... More

We found this place full up in the evening so decided to book for the next day. We heard a lot of good things about it and as it was so busy, expected a real treat. It's very cosy and quirky inside the courtyard with many people bringing their dogs and kids. It felt very family and communal. The service... More

Very good! Try the tajine chicken with couscous, delicious!!! Relaxed atmosphere, in a patio decorated with all kind of things that make you smile.

Charming courtyard garden and very good food, but we found the seating area to be absolutely stiflingly hot on the evening we visited: maybe go on a cooler night next time

Quirky courtyard full of a strange mixture of objects, this place was recommended to us. However my husbands escalope of veal was clearly burnt, admittedly he didn't complain but sad to think they thought it was acceptable. My veal in a sauce was ok.

Located just off the main square in St Florent this small restaurant has a quirky terrace at the back with memorabilia decorating the walls. The atmosphere is friendly & relaxed and our dinner was very enjoyable. The entree Saladi Francesa made a good start & comprised green salad with tomatoes, brocciu cheese and cured ham (15€). Be hungry as it's... More

Found in an advising guide as "very nice place, but food is not exceptionnal", we finally found this comment a little bit tough. If we had to summarize, we would rather chosse "Simple and authentic", being what you expect from a restaurant in Corsica. The staff is very friendly, especially with kids, the corsican fritters (mint and zucchini) are simply... More

Another really good recommendation! We went one evening but the courtyard was full so we booked for the next day. The Courtyard is really pretty, quiet and shady and, as other reviewers have said, is quite different to the seafront restaurants. Go hungry - the food is Corsican quality and quantity! We started with beignets, one of cheese and one... More

On our first visit we missed out on bagging a table in the eclectic courtyard - it was fully booked! However, we had such a delicious meal and the service was so attentive and friendly (unfortunately we found this not to be the norm in Corsica!) that we reserved a table for the weekend to sit in the back open...
