WOW! A must when in Pefkos

Although we stayed half board at our hotel we were looking for somewhere to eat out one evening, we went to Terpsis on the recommendation of a friend at our hotel. This visit, Terpsis won my meal of the holiday award! We had originally intended eating at a nearby restaurant but when we arrived, and seeing literally nobody eating there, we became a little worried as to the lack of patrons so, we decided to go to Terpsis, a restaurant we have eaten at on previous visits to Pefkos. The staff... More

We had two meals at this restaurant and both were excellent. Very pleasant environment and the staff are all lovely. We ate at a number of higher end restaurants during our recent holiday in Pefkos and in our opinion Terpsis was the best.

We have been going to Terpsis ever since our first visit to Pefkos 14 years ago. They never disappoint. The quality is unbelievable and is always excellently presented. Vangelis and his team are very attentive. I would recommend any of the fish dishes, whilst my husband would go for the belly pork

On our first night we decided to eat in Terpsis the food was very good not that you could say that of the weather !! A thunder storm with torrential rain this was a headache for the staff as the rain was coming in from all angles!!! but they all kept there cool and dealt with the situation in a... More

Terpsis is a beautiful contemporary restaurant with equally stunning food. Our party of nine had a several different meals off the extensive menu, and all were equally mouth watering. Starters are filling, mains are plentiful, and each is beautifully presented, often in an unusual way. Traditional Greek favourites such as stifado and saganaki are excellent, as are the more contemporary... More

I've eaten here on a number of occasions and the food has always been good, except when they changed the mixed starter and add a few things that's not on the menu, still nice but unexpected. However on occasion the house wine has been not the best, far too fruity for our taste.

If you are looking for something a little more up-market than the usual "3 courses for a tenner" cheap and cheerful tat, try Terpsis. When walking past, don't be put off, thinking it looks too posh, the staff are friendly, helpful, really clued up, and seem to be proud of where they work (and they don't make you feel guilty... The bekri metze was ok but my wife's orzo -a pasta dish with chicken and a 'parmesan foam' was awfully acidic. The 'chicken' was extremely dark in colour which led me to suspect it was something else. And this was their signature dish! The staff were full of smiles but no apologies. If you like good Greek food avoid this... More
