I had lunch here in the bar area behind the shop. The staff are friendly & welcoming & although they speak little English they make an effort to understand your needs. Excellent food typical from this lovely region of Spain, very well presented. Starters and main dish accompanied with excellent wine from Rioja Alavesa, in the north of Spain. And the dessert was memorable, a puff pastry filled with cream and covered with sour fruity blackberry sauce sprinkled with chocolate beans. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is owned by the same people who own Hotel Medina Salim, where we were staying. As with many Spanish restaurants, it does not open till 21.00 in the evening.
