After lunch on the waterfront, we strolled around Skradin, then decided to book a 'peka' for our evening meal at Konoba Toni. The owner was charming, offered us a glass of his own wine, and showed us his paintings in the large bar area. When we returned several hours later, we were warmly welcomed and sat down to a delicious... More

Heartily recommend tavern Toni and her loving owners. If you are looking for traditional cuisine, you are on the right place. You will not go wrong with either one food option. Yet traditional "peka" and octopus is something I would recommend. Take some time and visit the interior of the restauran, you will be delight with artwork (paintings on the walls). Priceless

Having seen other reviews I was looking forward to a meal out here. We couldn't have the Peka as we didn't pre-order 2hrs before and it's low season which is fair enough. However the food we did order was barely warm, served on cold plates and with undercooked fatty chips as a side dish. The other side dish of rice... More

We had a bad experience at the “Robinson” restaurant in Vrulje on the Kornati island where their lamb under “peka” was too tough and undercooked, and the owner was very defensive when faced with these facts. This was especially unfortunate since we had our friends from the States and UK with us and we really wanted to show them this... More

We ordered the lamb peka in advance and explained to the owner that we'd had a bad experience elsewhere. He assured us that if we were not satisfied that he'd refund our money. We were not disappointed! Truly delicious, melt-in-the-mouth lamb, potatoes and gravy. We would heartily recommend this restaurant to other sailors and visitors to Skradin.

Charming restaurant on the Island of Brac in Croatia. The staff was friendly and the food was good. We were with a large group so there was lots of food, mainly seafood. We sat outside for the weather was beautiful. Only downside was that there were pesky flies that we had to shoo away from the food.

Liked - Beef, lamb and fish cooked in the traditional Croatian way - under an iron bell. I had lamb and it was excellent - but you need to pre-order to be sure. We didn't but was lucky enough to be able to have some anyway. Liked - Its been a family business since 1948 and has the feel and... More

We were lucky to eat at the Konoba at the end of October, the season was over but they cooked specially for our small group. Peka with lamb was absolutely wonderful, we all liked the meal a lot. The interiour is rather simple, however all walls are decorated with paintings by the father of the Konoba´s owner, some of them... More

Peka is a Croatian specialty and it is so succulent and delicious at Toni! Toni is specialized in Peka and offers Peka exclusively on the menu. That narrows down the options to the choice of meat in your Peka. I recommend octopus or lamb. As the Peka cooking takes quite some time, a reservation in advance is recommended. The generous...
