We found this from trip advisor and was a lovely place and perfect location for the centre. We ordered pasta dishes which were nice, my partners however was cold throughout but mine was fine. A table of local guests ordered the 'pizza siciliana' - I would say to go and order that as it looked great. The service was good... More

We ended up eating here several times. The food and the service was just really good. The menu was small and simple, but what there was- was delicious. I tried their pasta porcini, their risoto with porcini and pumpkin and their pasta with artichoke, ham, sundried tomatoes and pumpkin. I wish I could go back and have it all over again.

Great place where we went for lunch (nice pasta dishes) and dinner (mushroom soup, pork with sweet and sour onions) and had very good and tasteful modern Italien food with respect to the traditions. Service of the young team was nice and friendly. What a nice surprise to find this place in Zafferana Etnae.

After a chilly morning on Etna, we were looking for a nice place to have lunch (two families with 3 kids)... Although we didn't have big expectations, we spotted from the car in Zafferana Etnea a restaurant / wine bar that looked nice from the outside and we decided to try it. What an inspired decision this was! The design... More

This place is a delight - the food was excellent, the "family business" is heart warming and we had a long, un-rushed lunch that was memorable. My husband is Italian and we were traveling with my brother who was visiting Sicily for the first time. This was an unplanned stop, and I would definitely go back if I ever find... More

We visited this restaurant three times on our holiday and each time our food was delicious. All our food was freshly made with fantastic flavours. There is a large menu to choose from and one of the owners speaks really good English so was able to offer more info if needed. There was a large selection of wines to choose... More

My sister and brother-in-law (both Italian), and I were visiting Sicily. We found ourselves in Zafferana and hungary for a bit of lunch. We walked into Gli Aragona and left having enjoyed a truly outstanding meal, wonderfully prepared and flavorful, complete with fresh Porcini mushrooms from the slopes of Mount Etna, great seafood, and friendly service. A family owned restaurant... More

What an excellent restaurant we found by chance at Zafferana Etnea!! Very friendly people, they even prepared for us their delicious Porcini Pizza Siciliana before the actual opening time. All produce was fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed it. MARIA TERESA AND DOUGLAS SMITH

At first glance Zafferana looked shut, even the restaurants, we then came across this little oasis and had a very good freshly prepared lunch at a good price.

We were driving down from a fog shrouded Mount Etna in the early afternoon with The Daughter acting as wheelwoman navigating a lot of squiggly roads and were REAL hungry. Passing through a few small villages we learned a lesson: Italians in the country do not go out to eat lunch - there were no restaurants which were open. Lots... More
