My wife and I had lunch at this restaurant on the main square in Zafferana Etnea. The food was very good, the service was friendly and helpful, and the owner/chef even came to our table and explained the food. We sat outside and enjoyed the amazing view of the sea.

On a Sunday evening my wife and I just happened to walk into this restaurant, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise, not in the least because of the very fast and friendly service of the enthusiastic, hard working waitress Maria Paola. In spite of the fact that I didn't find it on the menu, I took my chances and... Our Gamberro Rosso recommendation trattoria was closed for lunch so we went to this place after a friend told us to go. Service was lazy although we were almost alone in the restaurant (another couple). Food was really nothing to write home about. We won't return.

The location is the best thing about the place. I sat outside and watched the locals promenade in the square. Try anything with mushrooms, the locals pick them wild from the slopes of Etna (hundreds of them). The waiter spoke good English. The Sicilian pizza is worth a try, just once. The worst part was the very long wait for... More

I have been to this restaurant after visiting Mt Etna. This restaurant is in a nice piazza with a wonderful view. The food was very good but the service was a bit slow. The staff was wonderful especially the young gentleman that served us. I would happily visit again.

After a visit to Mount Etna, we decided to stop off on the way home in this small town for something to eat. The restaurant is situated at the end of a paved plaza and we sat inside since it was raining. The menu choice was average - it was in Italian, absolutely fine apart from the waiter could only... After walking around the South side of Mt. Etna, we were starving and thirsty. We had been told at the hotel in Taormina, that the towns at the foothills of Mt. Etna were lovely and some of them had good eating places. Their specialty was mushrooms which grow best in volcano's lava. So we headed for Zafferrana, since it was... More

We found this restaurant during our trip to the etna. The staff and particularly Domenico was very nice and his advice were great. We eat very well and had a great time.

We loved this restaurant: very good food, nice staff, nice location on a beautiful little place near the church of Zafferana Etnea. A nice little address!
