Nicely situated this restaurant is just right for an easy going restaurant. They offer hamburgers, fish and chips, salades. I had an Indian salade with fried vegetables, which looked nice and tasted good. Sun was hot on the terrace, service friendly and wine cold. A very nice break in beatiful surroundings!

The food choice is not bad and one of the specialities is "fish & chips". Prices are very reasonable even on the nights when there is live entertainment. Sadly the quality of the food can be variable depending on the chef. Atmosphere is great and I have seen seen some great and original bands/musicians.

The title says it all really. We both liked the place. It was fairly busy even at 7pm on an October Wednesday. We had to wait quite a long time to order, and so long for our drinks I thought we had been forgotten. We both had steak and chips (the fish curry was not available). The steaks were a... More

we love the place. let that be said. but don't go there for lunch or dinner. we had the burger: badly, or should I say hardly at all, cooked. and the vegy Indian dish: when I looked underneath the salad under the vegetables: a centimeter of cooking oil in my plate. disgusting. the wine 'of the week' had probably been... We read some good reviews and being the only place opened in La Roche Bernard on a monday night in October we went in. The lady who welcomed us was so friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The autumn menu was slightly limited but nonetheless had some interesting items. We had the duck breast and cheese salad and they were... More

We read all of the reviews and had also been recommended the fish and chips at Sarh B. So on our visit to La Roche Bernard, which was Tuesday 11th Septemeber, we found the Sarah B on our arrival , checked the closing time which was 3pm and went for a walk around the town. We went back at 2pm... More

There was nothing particularly notable on the menu; I ordered the fish because if you get it right, then other stuff will be good. and the fish was very nice. What made this place fior me was the setting - very pretty and rustic. Price was good too.

Been four times in last 6 months. Does English type cod and chips, plus other meals and plat du jour. Can get quite busy. Will happily visit again. Never been in high season, can imagine it is very busy. Chef loves salt.
