Nice Caribbean foods

Despite our poor French language (menu is French only) succesed to choose delicious dishes (keywords: ecrevisse, poisson). The prices are reasonable. Punch is excellent.

As the restaurant looked busy, we expected an average to decent restaurant, but it was completely different. It seemed that a bus with Germans stopped at the restaurant for the low prices. The tables and forks felt sticky and unwashed. I really like accras as appetizer, but it was just awful. We ordered several meatdishes as main course but all... More

The place is like heaven, you can have a drink at the little beach and eat afterwards in the restaurant. We ordered 2 Lobsters, 1 Lamb and one entrecôte. All of it was high priced, served almost cold and ways too much cooked. Poor animals. I dont recommand the place for anything else than apero.

Lapped by the waves, it has an excellent location. Menu was very average. We had the menu fixe at 19€. Service was a little slow and lax - is this the expectation at a beachside restaurant? If so, why?

Walking along the street, we decided on the end to go here for dinner. At first you enter a small shop and behind you are entering the restaurant - balcony which is decorated with bright colours and nice lightening directly at the bay and beach. It seamed to us, this is a very frequently restaurant, therefore the 2 (?) waitresses... More

Liked the crab farci (stuffed crab) and accras. The view was great and service was ok. The ti punch was punchy!

The food was very good but the service was terrible. They had a water cut (which I understand happens frequently in Deshaies) so there was no toilet available. It took one hour and a half to get our food and we didn't even have starters or dessert!

The food was really good , typical french caraib , well served and prepared , the view is just great , you have the feeling you eat on the sea, and the people are really welcoming you and treating you in the proper way , and the prices are soft ! What can you ask more ? Go for it... More

It's a fine place, no doubt! However: this is probably no the best spot on the island to enjoy seafood. The place boasts a nice seaside terrace, just like several neighbouring places. It is located next door to a largely overpriced posher restaurant, so it serves as a nice alternative. The service is friendly, and the entrance is decorated with... More

We had amazing accras, grilled fish, and "blaff" (grilled fish in a bouillon sauce). Everything was delicious. Service was warm and -- for Guadeloupe -- quite prompt. Wonderful view at night. A MUCH better value than surrounding restaurants. We plan to return for a 2nd meal.
