lovely meal in the hills

Had a family meal here. Friendly, helpful service with an explanation of dishes. Food was very nice, would go back again.

Absolutely fantastic little restaurant, actually made our holiday in a way. Was recommended to us by our Abaco Hotel... this gem is in a residential area up a hill - but worth going! Try the Domain Sahari 'Grey Wine' North African Wine if you go, its dry and delicious! The couple who run this bar are amazing (all home made... More

Great intro to maroccan food. The owners are really nice. The small dishes are superb, and better than the large main courses in my opinion. They too are good, though. Good value. Wine is mediocre, but not really what I am there for.

We have visited this place many times, each time we visit Altea we try to book one table to enjoy their lovely Moroccan food. I recommend you "pastela" , lamb or chicken "tajin". If you want to check their couscous you have to ask for in advance. I hope to meet you there. Cheers.

We travel to Altea several times a year, and we try to find good, local restaurants. We were therefore happy when we doscovered Ca Mezquida. We have been there several times at all times of the year, and I quess we have tried most of the dishes on the menu. Everything is very good. Whenever we have guests, we take... More

The food is fantastic and the owner is very friendly! Try the Pastel de pollo and go between 11 and 17. It's often closed in the evenings.

Just eaten here, and what a great find! Ok it may not be in the best location but it's certainly worth visiting. The food we had was all freshly prepared by the chef, and was excellent. (be warned you may not find everything on the menu is available!) Then there's the price, it's amazing value particularly when you compare it... More

We drove to Altea last night, Tue 21st August, to try this restaurant on the basis of Tripadvisor reviews. However, the restaurant was closed with no sign outside as to whether this is temporary or permanant. Does anyone know?

Great restaurant away from the busiest of the main old town. Would advise you to get there early to mid evening as we arrived around 10.30pm and only the starters were available. As we are quite new to Moroccan the owners were very helpful explaining what each dishes on the menu were. The food was delicious and we even ended... More
