The free appetizers of tapinade, olives and bread were very good. We tried the tzatziki, moussaka and chicken with tomatoes. Excellent and tasty food! Friendly and helpful waiter. Will definitely visit this place again :-)

Nice outside garden. Service was very slow, and then the waiter said that they made a mistake in the kitchen. Took more than 1 hour after ordering to get our meal. Chicken souvlaki was okay. Grilled shrimp was dry and tasteless. Very smokey. As North Americans , the trend has been to eliminate smoking in restaurants, so we are not... More

Great value for the food, lovely atmosphere especially when dark! It's great, the chicken dish with tomato sauce is to die for!

In the middle of Kos Town in the middle of shops but it has quite beautiful garden that you can seat and enjoy dinner. They got planty of vegeterian foods that you can enjoy like every Greek tavern. It may look a little bit pricer but it would't fool you, plates / portions of starters, grill vegatables, fried stuff are... More

My husband and I ate here in late Jume 2014 after stumbling on it in the old town. We both had a main and shared a side and some wine. I had a chicken bardoyniotiko which was stunning- in fact one of the best dishes I have ever tried. Pan fried chicken breast in a beautiful tomato and paprika finish-... More

Looked so promising and the restaurant was busy so we waited at least ten minutes for a table and then we waited again to be served and again for our food which arrived barely warm and the cheese in the Auvergne saganaki was congealed and then we waited again for lamb kapanas which was also only just warm and the... We found Elia when wandering amongst the winding streets of Kos Town, thought how nice and cosy it looked so popped in for dinner later in the day. The menu was eclectic Greek with some Cypriot and Cretan dishes. My Pork and Halloumi was tasty but far too large a portion; husbands Drunken Chicken dish was excellent apparently. Good local... This place was a great family restaurant to eat in Kos. It is right in the main shopping street, great atmosphere, friendly waiters and staff and the food was fab. Try their lamb kapanas...simply out of this world!! The service was really quick and the menu was varied. The restaurant itself is uniquely decorated with the greek gods painted on... More

We recently enjoyed a lovely meal at Elia which is tucked away in the old town admist an array of small tourist shops. It seems really popular and one of the locals actually recommended it to us, so we knew it was going to be great food. I recommend the Greek salad, beef with feta, lamb with cinnamon, pumpkin balls... More
