I have been to The Caravan Restaurant in Amerikis Street in Kos Town, about a 10 minute walk from the harbour towards the Lambi side of Kos. It is owned by Hasan, he greets you, takes the orders, serves you, drinks with you and he eventually gives you a bill and takes your money. The food is excellant and is... more

we found the caravan restaurant in 1994 when hassan first opened we found him and his family very friendly his food is great, we started going with our children and now there grown up and they go with their partners, me and my wife go twice a year the first port of call caravan simply the best we will see... more

On a recent visit to Kos this was by far the best restaurant in the town. Excellent food, service and wonderful atmosphere. more

We first found the 'Caravan' on Amerikas street in 1995 and everytime we return to Kos we eat there. Hassan and his family are great. It's like returning to family. His stories are entertaining, his company his delightful and the food cooked by his wife and father in law is fantastic. Don't be in a hurry. Enjoy the conversation and... more
