Beautiful facility, picturesque!

The best part of this restaurant is the view. It is in a lovely old mill and had great service. I don't remember too much of the food, which means it was ok... I remember the lamb was overcooked, but well seasoned.

I want to like this restaurant in an old mill, as it is very charming and has a very interesting menu. I had an excellent garden salad, and our friends enjoyed the mussels and lobster pad Thai with hot greens, as well as the curried mushroom soup. However, my husband and I both had the appetizer size of the Lobster... More

We first visited the Old Mill on our honeymoon in 2009 and returned a year later on our anniversary. Five years later, we came back again and were delighted to find that it was still open the first week of October. We sat at a riverview table and dined on expertly prepared local fare, by candlelight. My husband thoroughly enjoyed... More

We where touring the island the last days and found that hidden gem. A great little choice of international and local dishes - made only with fresh local ingredients. The Lobster Phad Thai was great. Perfect friendly and quick Service. And get some home made cookies for take away. Top quality.

We make a point of visiting this restaurant each year when we are on the island simply because of the chowder (followed the chef from her previous restaurant). Excellent - we think about it all year. Paired with a glass of white from Newman Estate and the view of the river and it makes for a lovely afternoon.

Six of our family came to dinner here on Saturday night during Labor Day weekend. It was a beautiful meal for everyone. We all tried something different from the menu. Lamb, flank steak, ribs and Lobster Thai to name a few. Perfect presentation and taste. I had one of my favorite desserts, Blueberry bread pudding and it was excellent with the old... More

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service great the waitress and waiter could not have been more attentive. The food we had was very good but we felt the menu left something to be desired.

If you are looking for a very very good meal, go here and enjoy. Let the waiter advise you on your choice and enjoy the lovely views across the water while waiting. I was impressed by the food and the kind waiter and felt very welcome.

Emily Wells and her team continue to offer an interesting menu highlighting local meat, seafood and produce. Lovely atmosphere in a beautiful setting with courteous and attentive staff. We enjoyed our evening much as the two visits in 2014

Every part of the experience was fabulous. We went there on a whim and were able to get a last minute reservation. There was some waiting, but we didn't even notice how long we'd been there until we'd left because our server was fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was fantastic. The meal was unassuming but perfectly seasoned... More
