lovely dinning experience

The charm of this beautiful building complements the delicious meals. Our suppers were excellent, perfect portion sizes. The offer of a fresh vegetable appetizer depending of what was freshly available confirmed that quality is important. The desserts were homemade and sounded delicious but we... read more

Had the chicken for dinner and banofee cheesecake for dessert and haven't stopped thinking about it since. The food is fresh, local and delicious and the view can't be beat! I highly recommend this restaurant!

I like to take my wife here for a date every summer when we are in PEI. The food is usually very tasty (we really like the soups) and the cuisine is a bit more sophisticated than those nearby (and at a reasonable price). If you go I suggest you make a reservation and ask for a table with a... More

Good ambience, - open, light, with a view of the river. Excellent food, the owner, - Chef Emily moved from The Dunes two years ago, - to the detriment of The Dunes. Service is professional but friendly and in not intrusive. Focus is on local ingredients and high-quality purveyors, and the menu varies with availability. Everything we have eaten there... More

The freshness and flavor of "farm to table" ingredients used in the amazing dinner entrees exceeded all of our expectations! The chef's creations were a symphony of flavors that were pure delight. I dined on the rack of lamb that melted in my mouth. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The desserts were equally delicious and meticulously prepared. A memorable... More

This was our second visit to The Olde Glascow Mill and the food was every bit as good as the first time but the service was very slow and it was not a full house that caused it. I estimate that it was only 50% capacity and yet we had reservations for 6:30 and I looked at my watch and... More

Situated across the river from the PEI Preserve Company on the highway from Crapaud to Cavendish, the Olde Glasgow Mill is a mid-price quality restaurant offering great fare and good service. The views of the river are splendid.

We have guests visiting from out of the province and we went to this restaurant for lunch. I had the Soupe du Jour, a Potato- Tomato soup. My hubbie had the Chicken Pot Pie, which is also served as part of the restaurant's "Marche" (take out food). Our friends had the Lobster Quiche and Seafood Soup....both extremely flavourful and of... More

Chef Emily took over here in 2014 and turned a pleasant but so-so dining room into a gem. The Mill reopened for 2015 on June 20 and a week later we booked dinner with friends to find out how this restaurant make-over is progressing. Delighted to report that fine dining is back, firmly established at this pretty country place. The... More

We arrived having made a reservation and good thing we did, they were turning people away at the door. Fantastic meal, such fresh local greens, beautiful presentation. Chef Emily Wells made an appearance at all the tables and offered a sample of one of their salads. Service was attentive but not "hovering". And it doesn't hurt that the view is... More
