We love food, flowers and friends. Our business is located in one of Canada's most scenic villages. We are located on banks of River Clyde which from the dining room is a wonderful site to behold. Our kitchens produce wonderful specialty foods for market and our restaurant serves a popular breakfast, lunch and dinner. All our deserts including ice-cream are made on the premises as well. If you like good food, nice gardens and great people be sure to stop into The Prince Edward Island Preserve Co.

The gift shop here is wonderful with a wide and varied selection, but the restaurant itself is just average. Very small portions and the service was just okay. Dessert was good, so tour the gift shop and then stop for tea and dessert-eat your meal elsewhere.

First visited In 2005 and returned in 2014. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all so delicious! Incredible use of local foods (land & sea). Staff are so genuine and unique, owners are...can't even think of the right word - but fabulous! The store offers a wide range of goods. The lemon curd is my person favourite. Be sure to save... Run by an enthusiastic Scot, John. Food was good and service swift. There was a lass singing and playing piano when we were there. Has a shop selling locally produced jams which we took home and enjoyed for many weeks. Touristy but great fun.

stop in for a wide selection of island preserves and edibles, and enjoy lunch with a view,of the surrounding gardens and countryside.this is popular bus tour stop, but they handle the crowds very well.lunch is an upscale rendition of island classics served by a youthful and pleasant staff.this was a welcome stop on our afternoon tour of the area.

What a neat place. We had a Potato Pie Dish / Casserole as a main entrée and it was delicious. The restaurant is one nice sized room with windows on two sides, we were able to watch the sun going down. The salad was fresh as was the biscuit along with soft butter. The dessert--fruit pie was very good. The... More

Driving by it looked a little like a tourist trap. Went in anyway. They made and presented preserves for tasting. They also focused on a variety of teas. Restaurant in the back. Great pies. Outside a garden walk worth taking.

Charming setting and beautiful garden. The food here is excellent. I had the lobster pot pie and it would be my "If I had one more meal before I die" meal! So delicious! The teas and desserts are fabulous too. Definitely one of my favourite places to dine on PEI. We also purchased the Raspberry Champagne preserve. Fabulous!

We were doing an island tour. Stopped here. Reminded us of being in Glasgow, Scotland. The owner, Bruce, was wearing his kilt and helping us check out. We purchased the Raspberry Champagne and the Strawberry Grand Mariner preserves. They were/are our favorites. These are the best preserves we have ever had. Fresh. They sell teas, too and have a restaurant.... More
