If you like jams, preserves and unique gifts, don't pass this place by! Not only do they have a fantastic selection of preserves, some wonderful salsas and special gifts. The most wonderful thing, however is that if you are traveling and can't afford more weight in your suitcase, they offer a $9.95 flat rate shipping charge anywhere in No. America.... More

We drove miles out of our way to revisit this place. We drove directly from the Confederation Bridge to meet with friends who were traveling with a dog. This was the perfect place as we could eat outside. Anything on the menu is good but I am partial to the Potato Pie and easily convinced our visitors from Alberta to... More

On our visit to PEI this was a great stop. The atmosphere was lovely as was the light live Irish music. The food was exactly what you would want for a light lunch, and the tea was equally as good and served in a beautiful pot. The preserves were also excellent, and it was helpful to be able to sample... More

Although we did not have time to eat lunch here, we enjoyed the jam and jelly operation. Complete with samples and their great hot tea. We purchased the famous strawberry and a black current jellies. It is very clean and the restroom facilities are too.

I have been this to restaurant several times over the years and the food has always been amazing. The menu has a lot of detail and the descriptions completely match the presentation and the taste. However, on my last visit earlier this month, I arrived a bit earlier than the lunch time, and browsed in the shops prior to entering.... More

Love their potato pie with maple mayo. Love the setting of this restaurant - beautiful views from large windows.

This restaurant was a 40 minute drive away from where my wife and I were staying. We made reservations for 530pm. We ordered the Seafood bubbly which came with ceasar salad and bread. As I type this my mouth is watering thinking about how tasty this dish was. Both my wife and I hope this stays on the menu so... More

PEI has a lot of places to try good seafood, and get a bit of the local flavor. However, this is a place we all enjoyed. I would sum it up as Gourmet Food (with a lot of local food), Classy and Comfortable Setting, Reasonable Prices. This would be high on our list of places to eat if we return... More

Great little shop where you get to try all the jams and preserves you can handle. However, one of the staff looked pretty peeved she had to clean the sampling area and restock it. Anyway, we dutifully bought jars as souvenirs and afterwards walked around the garden. Very picturesque, well worth spending the time to walk around. There is no... More

We were lucky that our arrival was "between" bus tour groups. The dining room had only 5 full tables. Service was great. Food arrived promptly. Menu offered a good variety. We each had the Country Breakfast of 2 eggs, a choice of sausage, bacon or ham, potatoes & toast with preserves & a beverage. Sausage was tasty. Husband had blueberry... More
