We came to this restaurant again as we had such a lovely time last year sitting downstairs with good ambiance and good food. As a special birthday celebration my elderly parents had previewed this restaurant the week before and being happy with the food booked specifically for downstairs. On their preview visit they had been given a table upstairs where... More

I've eaten at Santiago's twice, once under the previous ownership and once recently. Both times the food and the ambience have been really good - thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back again without hesitation. Excellent value too if you take the set menu option.

TONY and TIM are closing the restaurant. What a shame for those that enjoyed a good meal at great prices. GOODBYE

If you are looking for a break from the usual menus available try the Santiago. The menu was different and interesting but not exhaustive so you know that everything is made fresh and to order. All courses were excellent. Lovely atmosphere in the cosy Morrocan style courtyard. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening celebrating my partner´s birthday and we will definitely... More

Best to book, It can get busy for Sunday traditional roast lunch. For starters, we had poached pear stuffed with goats cheese (superd) and chicken liver pate. Main courses we chose roast pork and topside beef (served in giant Yorkshire pud) - excellent selection of sides, veg & roast ppotato & mash, all cooked perfectly. Only negative was the beef... Santiago's has a fantastic setting, both sitting inside and outside. The food is fantastic so is the service. We have eaten there dozens of times and have never been disappointed. Entertainment is provided certain nights in the Summer which adds that extra special touch. The Sunday Lunches are also excellent.

I have eaten here twice and been outside for one and inside for the other. If the weather is good eating outside is lovely, inside is really nice but feels more confined than a lot of restaurants. The food is really tasty and have eaten everything I have ordered here, I would recomend checking the menu online before booking though... More

A party of 12 of us arrived at this very quaint inland restaurant at 2.00pm and departed at 7.00 pm after having a lovely Sunday lunch. Much of the menu was typically British at a set price but if you chose to deviate from the Sunday menu there were plenty of other options. The food, wine, service and venue were... More

We were hoping to sit outside but the weather wasn't suitable so we were inside wow what a lovely intimate, superbly decorated place. The menu was the best I found in a week of eating out in Alhaurin, lots of varied choice for starters mains and desserts. The food was absolutely fantastic very high standard my only criticism was the... More
