I ate here at the start of a weekend away with my mother and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The setting, service and food were all excellent. We both had the fish and chips and there was no doubt that the fish was fresh and the quality was excellent. We both also had the merigue roulade which to be honest was... More

Went for brunch on Sunday and overall it was pretty poor. Firstly they took our order and 20 mins later a waitress arrived over and very bluntly told us that there were no pancakes left and as they were busy they were not making anymore. Her manner wasn't great and there was no apology just a what do you want... More

My mom and I dine here a lot so I thought it time to put ipad to work and write a review. We love it simply put: great selection, tasty fresh seasonal food always artfully presented by obviously well trained knowledgeable waiting staff. Finbarr & John are so welcoming and hospitable, it's a pleasure to dine here...continued success to all.

We stopped off here while on a trip around East Cork. It was very busy which was a good sign, there is a shop out the front where some of the produce is sold. Staff we found to be very friendly in general. We just had cake and coffee. The cakes were delicious and there was good choice available. Overall... More

Had lunch here recently and went for the fish and chips. I don't normally eat fish and generally stick to cod or whiting. The cod served in Bramley Lodge is one of the best I've ever had. Huge fresh chunky flakes of white fish in a light batter with chips and mushy peas. Not cheap at €15 but well worth... More

Had a late lunch in there. Had their famous pate, lovely and plenty of it! As a main I had a vegetarian curry which was very flavorsome with a bit of kick to it. Prices were adequate too.

I ordered Eggs Benedict. It came out on dried toast with the eggs hard boiled throughout. Sauce was cold and had to be re-heated. No one asked me when I was paying whether my food was ok. For a place that markets itself on gourmet food it was very disappointing.

First dining experience of the year and to Bramley we came! Love the new seating area! There were 10 of us altogether and we enjoyed a beautiful lunch followed as always by their Home-Made desserts! We look forward to spending more time here in 2014!

My friends took me there for lunch today for my birthday and I thought the food was really tasty. I had salmon and it came with mash, red cabbage, green cabbage and some creamy sauce. You can really taste it is organic. However, you don't want to go there with young kids, the waiting time before, during and after the... More

horrendous. absolutely horrendous. I had the misfortune to go to Bramley Lodge yesterday afternoon with my family. i should have known from the get go that this place was going to be below par. As on entering the establishment I and my childern had to wait by doorway for some time to be sitted (even though there were many empty... More
