Very good food

I believe that there have been some issues with a change of management but this place seems to have steadied the ship. Service was 5* - faultless. For the food, the Dover sole was cooked to perfection. The veg was a delight. Only quibble was the potatoes - these in our opinion need to be changed to... read more

My self and my wife visited this restaurant about 3 weeks ago. We were heading for dinner to a different restaurant when we decided to stop and give it a try for the first time. Our wait staff was very professional and very friendly. It was just after the main lunchtime rush so the restaurant was not busy. I have... More

We visited bramley last week, 21/07, and ended up being a little disappointed. We've visited cork 3 of the last 4 years on holidays, and visiting the bramley was always an experience we looked forward to, even one year when on a room only rate in a nearby hotel, we got breakfast there each morning. This time unfortunately was our... More

My wife and I stopped into this restaurant for lunch on Sat 27th June around 3.00pm. We were on our way back to Cork for an appointment just after 4.00pm and were told that the lunch time rush was over and we would have no problem get served as the kitchen were not under pressure. We were also told that... More

We called in for a take away deli lunch and the service was terrible. We waited almost 10 mins before we were able to get a menu and the staff ignored us to the point of being rude. We wanted to order some baguettes to take out with us for a picnic in Cobh but when we finally tried to... More

Have passed by Bramley Lodge a number of times in the past and while on route home after a mini break to west cork we decided to pop in for some lunch. After searching for good food in Clonakilty and Skibbereen (which we found in abundance) we were delighted to finish our trip with the best meal of all. Staff... More

Really nice atmosphere of calmness here. Food menu provides good selection throughout the day. Presentation and quality perfect. Feel it is a tiny bit overpriced. Lovely artisan shop with amazing products from brown bread eggs to relishes. Worth the treat for sure.

I have eaten here many times and every time it is lovely. The most recent meal I had was a steak sandwich at Lunch time. A nice big portion of tasty, fresh food was brought to the table. Alway a nice atmosphere. Although the table are very close together and a bit on top of your neighbours, overall I really... More

We dined here on a Sunday evening, last orders are at 7 pm on Sundays and we arrived with 20 minutes to spare. After a slightly hesitant start, all went well. The food for the children arrived pretty quickly, without any request that it be brought asap, obviously this is a family restaurant. The adults main courses were well executed.... More
