This was a family visit. The food was outstanding and the staff obliging and friendly. For quality and price, this restaurant is hard to beat east of Cork City. We hadn't booked and got here around 2pm. We were lucky to get a table although it got a little quieter after that. Next time we'll book in advance. This was... More

We recently ate here after a visit to Fota Safari Park and really enjoyed it. We were travelling with another couple and 3 young children in total. The staff were very accomodating with organising highchairs for us and didnt seem to mind the noise we created!! We were served by a very friendly and helpful American waitress. My husband and... Its always a good sign if a place is packed. Its even a better sign if the establishment is out of town, and its a stand alone business. The tin hat is if they have recently extended the car park. It means they are busy. I'd been here a few times before so I knew what to expect. The Bramley... More

friendly and polite staff. Food was really lovely and fresh - not microwaved like some places! We will definitely be going back

I went in this morning for breakfast at 08:35. Only one other customer was present. For 15 minutes, no waiting staff came to take my order. So, I left. On my way out, the waitress - who was talking with a colleague as opposed to doing her work - inquired of the colleague whether "he (I) had paid". This has... More

We had heard about this restaurant & had passed it many times previously, on this occasion we decided to go in. It was after the lunch time rush. There were a number of tables occupied outside but we decided to head inside due to the dark clouds overhead. We waited to be seated. The waitress passed us at least 3... More

We stopped on our way to killarney for lunch. What a lovely setting and well planned out establishment with plenty of free parking. We were shown to our table by a manager and he left us several menus with a very large selection. We ordered bacon and cabbage and fresh haddock and it went downhill from there. The bacon and cabbage... More

Family meal here on Saturday evening. On arrival we were given a choice of seating either conservatory or inside, we chose inside as we thought the conservatory would be too warm given the weather we were experiencing. Food was excellent - cooked to perfection, the 'house red' was delightful and the desserts to die for. The restaurant has an 'old... More

We go here for breakfast every weekend...can't beat it for a delicious full Irish and if it's a nice day it's fab to sit outside. I understand what people are saying about the slow service but I think that's cause the staff are so friendly and chatty which adds to the charm of the place in my opinion. A real... More

We enjoyed a wonderful meal here. I had the vegetarian risotto which was perfectly cooked and was full of flavour. The children's menu had a good selection and the fish goujons they had looked beautiful, lovely white fish which they devoured. The atmosphere was relaxed and we had a lovely bottle of Malbec at a reasonable price. We will return... More
