In the course of my work I get to visit Cork quite a lot. Sometimes I get to Cork early just to visit the Bramley for breakfast. They have never failed to satisfied, once I have the breakfast I know that I won't have to eat again until dinner. The staff are very nice and friendly. There is also fresh... More

we stayed in Fota Island where the food is undoubtedly quality but quite expensive. We visited the Bramley Lodge three times, twice for breakfast and once for dinner. I cannot fault it. Friendly staff, lovely surroundings, prompt service and most importantly delicious food. The chickpea curry was justabout the best thing I've eaten in a long time. There is a... More

We were staying in fota island and while the food was fine it was seriously overpriced €22 for a chicken main in bar food, the bramley lodge was only 1 min from our lodge and the food was excellent, far better than 5 star hotels, staff were busy but great, just go in for a look...

Arrived at a busy time but we're seated straight away. Our order was taken quickly from a good menu. Due to how busy the we're it took some time for the food to arrive up to 40 minutes. By this stage the children would have eaten a horse. When the food arrived it was lovely and nearly worth the wait.... More

Well worth a detour for the amazing home-made food and deserts. Child-friendly and now open for dinner.

I have eaten here on two occasions recently and on both occasions the food was lovely and the staff were friendly. The staff are efficient and the desserts are yummy, would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food in nice surroundings.

On a recent family visit to Fota managed to get a last min table for dinner (last orders 7pm on a Sun). Well impressed wth food, service and staff. Would totally recommend. We were so sick of pizza, chips, mcdonalds type food on a recent hol that were delighted to find this place. Had evening specials of roast beef and... More

This was a family visit. The food was outstanding and the staff obliging and friendly. For quality and price, this restaurant is hard to beat east of Cork City. We hadn't booked and got here around 2pm. We were lucky to get a table although it got a little quieter after that. Next time we'll book in advance. This was... More

We recently ate here after a visit to Fota Safari Park and really enjoyed it. We were travelling with another couple and 3 young children in total. The staff were very accomodating with organising highchairs for us and didnt seem to mind the noise we created!! We were served by a very friendly and helpful American waitress. My husband and...
