Nice beachview!

We had lunch here after visiting the Reserve. The food was good, the service great and the atmosphere beautiful. After lunch, we took a walk on the gorgeous beach.

This is a pleasant open air restaurant, nothing fancy, where they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We had pork and chicken flavored with Mayan spices and wrapped in banana leaves, cooked in a pit. Delicious is an understatement; it was delicious and fall off the bone tender. The owner seemed to take a personal interest... More

Five of us had a late lunch here, road weary and hungry! The beer was cold, the service friendly and none of us were disappointed by what we ordered. I had the Cervich en crema epazote (Shrimp in an epazote cream sauce) and it was one of the best meals I've had in Mexico. Others had other shrimp or fish... More

Clean basic venue on the beach . Nothing fancy, plastic tables and chairs from your favorite soda company. Beer is cold, service is nice , fresh tasty seafood with good selection and large portion. This restaurant is located in a midsize fishermen village , overall worth the stop while you are there.

Ate here for lunch with some friends, I have to eat Gluten Free, so when I go out to eat, it can be challenging to express my needs, but it worked out perfectly! They made fresh shrimp cooked in olive oil and garlic, they understood that clean utensils and a clean cooking area was extremely important. I was very happy... More

Not the best place but food is good and service is average; 500g lobster for 375 pesos (30 USD) in not bad... Right in front of the beach, no AC but changing rooms and beach showers make the deal....

Lovely atmosphere, but our fish was NOT at all fresh. There is no excuse for serving nasty old fish in a place like this. Not sure if they thought we wouldn't notice or just didn't care -- the response to my complaint was a shrug. Fortunately the French fries were pretty good, so at least there was something to eat.

On a beautiful beach location La Palapa serves fresh tasty seafood at reasonable prices. Our party (four of us) had a giant mixed ceviche (shrimp, conch, octopus) which was simple (just marinated in lime juice) a mozzarella and shrimp wrapped in tortillas dish, an octopus in its ink, and fish filets stuffed with seafood, as well as an order of... It is in town, right on the beach. You can sit inside or out. The food was really good, and the waiters were very attentive. Some spoke English. Which helped us. Order the ceviche!

Simple beachside location, and fish based menu. Much of the seafood comes from neighboring Campeche state but the small local shrimp find their way into the cocktails. Menu is limited and fish & seafood focused. Lunch for 3 ran about $50USD.
