Nice!

I visit La Palapa a few times every year. And it almost seems as if they have lost their flare for cooking. In the past, their dishes were the best in town! Nice portions but lacking flavour. The crab ceviche was too salty and watery, rendering the crab tasteless. The fish filet 'al mojo de ajo' was soaked in oil and hence soggy, although the fish itself (dorado) was super fresh and very tasty. Friendly and fast service, good for large groups.

Excellent service, delicious food and ice cold beer. The view was also one of the best lunch views we have had. Good prices, well worth it.

Famous as a fishing town, Celestun produces most of the lobster and crab hands you might find in Miami or other places around the world. We had a kilo of crab hands for $25 US a real steal. Plus the rest of the food was wonderful. are sure you ask for the river shrimp ceviche!

We enjoyed a good meal in front of the beach. I recommend to eat or take drinks here next to the beach, maybe go for a swim afterwards

Most expensive meal yet in Mexico, but good and in a beautiful setting. Great place to eat after seeing 1 or more flamingos.

Eating fresh perfectly cooked seafood on the sugar sand beach! Does it get any better than this on a sunny afternoon?

This is a good restaurant with traditional but also some innovative dishes, all of them tasty and for a reasonable price. We particularly enjoyed the Camarones al olivo (Shrimps in olive oil) and the Pulpo en su tinta (Octopus in its ink). The staff are friendly and offered us a table in the sand (with an additional cost though). They... More

This restaurant has a very nice view and great food. A nice atmosphere. My husband ordered the coconut shrimp and I had another excellent pasta dish with shrimp. All was delicious and the price was good.
