Amazingly good food and great value

We had the buffet dinner on Friday evening. The food was delicious and what a choice. My wife who is incredibly health conscious even tried all the puddings. The service was good too. This is actually the restaurant of the Macao hotel school. Service is by the students and super attentive. I suggest you take the tasting menu along with a Portuguese red wine from the extensive wine list. Scallops were particularly good. I also liked the Bacalhau fish cakes and a traditional local dish called 'Minchi' (minced beef and pork). Very good... More

Superb food, superb wines and superb service. Go for the tasting menu and pair with a bottle of Portuguese wine. I'll go for the cabernet sauvignon.

IFT educational restaurant was recently included as a Bib Gourmand pick in the 2015 Michelin guide. Because of all the great TA reviews, my friend and I wanted to give it a try and I'm happy to report all the glowing reviews are true. Service is super friendly by the students (sometimes a bit intrusive because there's multiple people checking... More

The restaurant serves as a training place for the Macau's Institute for Tourism Studies. Don't be fooled by this as you would be served as if you're in a high end restaurant. We had dinner there. The place is warm and friendly. We had scallop and black pork pie as appetizer. They are very good and a must try. As... More

Yes cheap wine list and some are drinkable as well. Average food at above average prices. Overbearing service , cant take a sip of water and someone will come refill. No atmosphere, loud family crowd /gatherings. No music. Need to walk 15 minutes to catch a return taxi.

The IFT Educational Restaurant is attached to Macau's Institute for Tourism Studies to provide the opportunity for students to experience the art of serving in a high quality restaurant environment. The result is a very exclusive setting for a memorable meal, an excellent and reasonably priced wine list of exclusively Portuguese wines, and a wide ranging menu covering both Portuguese... More

Service is inexperienced. Well, they are there to learn - it is a learning institution after all. Deco is not very sophisticated, except of the wine cellar - show room, perhaps. Overall the restaurant lacks warmth, soul and character. The food is the highlight, more people should come and try it. Wonderful and inexpensive black angus sirloin 740g at 500... More

One of the better places I've dined in in Macau. Serving modern-style Macanese and Western-inspired dishes, good presentation, correct end result. Place decor also commendable.

Have been here with my wife a couple of times. We liked it. Good experience, very good food, nice to see people who really seem to be wanting to serve you and enjoy your meal. Ever changing menu means it's never dull, differing themes, enjoy!
