The atmosphere is nice, the staff are competent, the owner rather congenial. It's been there for more than 20 years and the whole set up is very picturesque, cosy and warm. Is the food good? It's very authentic, it's pretty much like an average restaurant in Portugal. The oilier grub is . . . well, oily, and i don't want... More

Great service, good choice of tapas, loved the clams (best I ever had), very friendly atmosphere! It was nice to see the owner enjoying his food as we walked in!

We were already resting at the hotel after a long day walk. We thought we should at least try a Portuguese meal before leaving Macau next day. The first restaurant that came to mind was O Santos which we had passed by on the previous day. Oh my! I was glad we made the effort to come to this restaurant.... More

I had looked forward to eating at O Santos, but I had a slightly different experience than what most people have on here. (I would rate the restaurant 3.5*s). The food no doubt is good (4 stars), but after the meal, I walked off feeling like I needed to learn Portuguese so that I could converse with Mr. Santos to... More

Having lunch at O Santos was the highlight of our day visit to Macau. Food was great so was the Sangria, but most importantly was the owner Santos who welcomes his visitors with a great smile and much patience. He took the time to sit with us and chat. We were also very privileged to take photos with him.

I have been eating at O Santos for decades and that says it all. A place where you can always expect a warm welcome, good home style food and a pleasant atmosphere. It's one of the few remaining family run local Portuguese restaurants and when you see the owner tucking into his own food for lunch and dinner you know... More

My wife and I were walking down Rua do Cunha and saw people lining up outside this restaurant. That is usually a good sign so we joined in right on lunch opening time and got a table up stairs. We had no idea about the food or any of the reviews. With the help of a local, my wife ordered... More

I went last month and I met the owner, very nice person, very open and having this restaurant for quite long now! Food is good, local and not too expensive, ambiance that night was very Portuguese and nice! I really recomend the restaurant if you want some taste of portuguese food to feel like at home. Thank you
