Homestyle Portugese in a cute restaurant in Taipa

We had shrimp cakes, squid salad, and lamb stew...a nice, mid-range way to try Portuguese food! We didn't have a reservation for lunch, but we were able to sit in a quiet room upstairs in the back. I think our favorite thing was the squid salad!

Conveniently located 100 meters from the Rio a Hotel, this restaurant features Portugese cuisine served in a no-frills, family-style atmosphere - loud when fully occupied, that is. We went there on a tip that it was better than eating at the hotel, which remains to be seen. The menu has several seafood dishes, as well as chicken, pork and beef,... More

This is a famous Portuguese restaurant that always seen its reviews in many Websites. Because of that I and my wife decided to have our dinner here during our second day of Macau Trip. It is located at a busy street: Rua de Cunha, Taipa. The easiest way to get here is through a cab/taxi if you are staying in... More

Was expecting this restaurant to be overrated, it was located at a busy tourist street and I was prepared for an average fare. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised. The service was with a smile and was super quick. Ordered the clams which was excellent and the pork roast which was delicious. Also had the braised liver which was delightful as... More

From the moment we walked in it felt like being transported back to Portugal. The entire experience; food, wine, décor, friendly service, were just what we were looking for. After two weeks travelling in China, we visited Macau and went to O Santos as it had been recommended. To say the least it was just wonderful. Maybe the best part... More

The owner likes football and shows it by displaying photo's and memorabilia of his favorite Portuguese Football Club. The menu is very extensive with typical Portuguese specialities, including several types of fish.

Food was fantastic. Myself and 3 work colleagues went here for dinner during a week work trip to Macau. It was arguably the best dinner we had in the City. Something forevermore taste - even picky eaters. The Rolling Stones ate here once and the owner regaled us with stories of his interaction with them. Very entertaining. This place is... More

Came here on recommendation when asking around for authentic Portuguese/Macanese food. Restaurant was a little hard to find though - walk straight down, the shop number suddenly got bigger which threw us off a little. Between the three of us, we got the baked duck rice, curry shrimp and grilled sea bass and washed it down with red wine. The... More
