O Santos delivers on the promises other TA reviewers have made in its behalf: this is really delicious Portuguese food, and in an interesting old neighborhood. I had my hotel call ahead to secure a reservation, which was a good idea: a table was kept open for me on arrival, thanks to having called ahead. Very busy place. Try their... More

Was not familiar with Portuguese Food so we turned to Trip Advisor :-) The area where this restaurant is located is a small street lined with eating establishments and some souvenir shops. Just walking along the street is a great experience in itself. It was full when we got there at around 7:30 pm. From the outside it looked like... More

I went here with two girl friends. We hadn't decided where to go but liked the look of it. It is a small family run restaurant and such a refreshing change to the hustle and bustle and impersonal feel of the eateries in the casino areas. The service was great and the food was lovely.

We stopped in here after a tour of macau and a brief stint on the venetians gambling floor. The food is quite good. For starters we got garlic shrimp- we asked for the shrimp to be peeled (the hubs isnt down with the self peel shrimp), and they were happy to accommodate. The garlic shrimp is, in one word, unforgettable.... More

Had the pleasure of stopping by at "O Santos" a while ago and it was a great experience. Starters, main courses (several courses shared among friends) and deserts were fabulous. Plus we had a great "Vinho Verde", a kind of Portuguese wine that doesn't mature as much as a regular whine wine. Thank you Mr. Santos. We had a great... More

My friends and I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. Santos came to the table and by the time he left, it felt like we were leaving behind a friend. The cod fish croquettes were my favorite! The sangria was very good (even though, I wouldn't have mind a bit more wine). We took a... More

We had a great filling dinner here at a very realistic price.. The food was delicious and the house wine was enjoyable. The food was very authentic. We had a chat with some Portuguese customers and there were many Portuguese locals dining. The value was excellent and we had a table upstairs, very informal, but that was what we expected.... More

We were planning to eat at another Portuguese pace in Taipa village but as that was booked out we were recommended O Santos. Without any booking Santos was able to somehow accommodate my family, which included my mother, my wife and two little children, 3month and 2.5yr old as thigh we were family. Santos (the owner) and his staff very... More
