The Tasting Room at City of Dreams is a concept for foodies! You have the option of selecting a fixed dinner fo several course accompanied by wine, or selecting a la carte. Our table asked for the Chef who greeted us and spent time with us and we gave him carte blanche to create a dining experience for us. Our... More

We had a fixed price 4 course Sunday lunch at the Tasting Room, and were very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant sits on the 3rd floor of the Crown hotel, at the City of Dreams complex, and it boasts high ceilings and large windows looking out towards the Venetian. Valet parking is available at the hotel entry. 3, 4 or 5... More

I wanted a nice restaurant in Macau for our family Christmas dinner. The gal on the phone said sure, they were full for dinner but could seat us for lunch. So I decided to make a reservation. Then she says that she needs a deposit so I said OK let me give you my credit card number. She says no,... More

We were a group of four diners on a gastronomic adventure in Macau. The food and price we believe far surpassed some of the other Michelin star restaurant. To start with the basket of bread was freshly baked and warm. so delicious. We can't stop eating them. All of us ordered the four course menu but with different mains. From... More

This meal was surely one of the most beautiful I have ever eaten and a few of the dishes were certainly some of the best I have had (Scallop meal and Carbonera appetizer) while others needed just a bit more (lobster appetizer...beets were a bit to overwhelming for the delicate dish and a bit of head or a bit of... We went there for lunch and had the 3-course set lunch. We were absolutely satisfied (more than satisfied) for every dish and had nothing to complain about. Love their green curry soup with mussels, which is quite light yet rich in flavour. Also love the plates and bowls they use, which are very special (even the toothpick holder is quite... More

How good is this place? It's that good that I completely forgot I was in China. And for those of you familiar with the Middle Kingdom you'll know how hard that is. Everything we ate looked and tasted fabulous. we loved the contrasting textures, temperatures and tastes. French onion soup with an onion flavored ice cream and caramelized onion. Wow.... More

Tried the lunch set HKD$268 @ + service charge. Regret that we did not enroll the member card before going for lunch as there is 5% discount for member. There were 3 courses - appretizer, main course and dessert. The free starter tomato juice was fresh. The appretizer, salmon roll, was in too small portion. I didn't feel anything special... More
