The better egg tart

There are a few egg tarts in the several places I have been to... but Lord (Andrew) Stow's was different particularly when its eaten in its birthplace - Coloane. I have been here twice, the first was in 1997 and the most recent was in May this year. Nothing spectacular changed about this laid back... read more

This place is famous for the egg tart that is an icon of Macau. The food quality is good but remember that it is not the only place you can buy egg tarts.

The most famous Portuguese egg tart in Macau. Crispy puff pastry and soft egg filling.Tasty but not too sweet. I could eat 3 tarts at one time. Besides, I also like the short cake with orange skins.

Wonderful tarts. I live in Hong Kong and so have tasted a few. These tarts are really first class. We took a taxi down and caught the bus back. An easy trip to the outskirts of Macau, well worth adding this to your Macau list of things to do.

The much coveted Lord Stows Portuguese egg tarts definitely lives up to its name. Best eaten fresh, though the tarts can be kept refrigerated and eaten cold the next day.

If you ever come to Macau, you have to make a trip to Lord Stow's Bakery. It will be a trip without regret, as for me I found the best Portuguese Egg Tart on Planet Earth!!!! The soft, filling, flavorful on the inside, crispy on the outside, totally freshly made! While writing this review, I have a craving to go... More

I will skip the review of the egg tart because we all know it is seriously yummy. Around the corner passing the bakery shop of Lord Stow's, there's a cafe of the same owner. The food is simple and nice but not outstanding. What we love the most about this place is the service of the Filipino staffs, good English,... More

It was the perfect Portuguese Egg tart!!!! We went to the one in the Venetian. 20 min waiting in line. Had to fight for a seat but it was worth it. The crust was perfectly crisp. The egg inside has a body yet it was creamy. The sweetness was so well balanced that i can eat a bunch of them... More
