Wow is what you can think of once you eat there . The most famous is the egg tart . It is inside the hotel venetian. Excellent variety and taste. It would remain in your heart and mouth forever.

Imho, all portugese egg tarts are more or less the same. However, opportunity of being able to consume freshly made tarts are rare. Filling is not to sweet and flavourful. Good tarts not great though. Impeccable service standards. Will probably try the one in venetian as it really out of the way for the one in colane.

We tried the bakery located inside Venetian Canal Shoppe. Not easy to find but use the electronic directory to guide you there. Open till late at night, we went there around 11pm. We had three each over a cup of coffee. It's as really good. We packed six more to go!

We actually walked past Lord Stows without noticing it was there!! There was a queue which took 5 minutes to get served. We were going to sit in but it is really small and all tables were full. We got 6 custard tarts to go and they were yummy but I preferred them cold rather than piping hot (it is... More

Came here for the signature egg tarts after reading raving reviews online. We were not disappointed. The egg tarts had crispy edges and perfectly soft and sweet fillings. The tops were slightly browned, which made them look even more appetising. The first bite is simply heavenly! Even a health freak like me would eat half a batch!

Nice coffee, great egg tarts, shame it had no garden to enjoy them in. Set in a tidy little fishing village, it would be a shame not to do a little exploring afterwards, if only to burn off the excess tart calories?

Lord Stow's Bakery in Coloane Macao is an institution. A tiny little shop with a line a customers trying to get in for their fill of delicious Portuguese tarts. The tarts are to die for! Never have been a egg tart eater, but this really wow me over. Having been born in Singapore, whereby you can experience all type of foods, including different type of egg tart, this is surely the best that I've eaten in my lifetime. There is a touching story behind this place, between husband and wife, but that's for another day.... More

I went to this plcae with high anticipation. Even though the fake environment of Venetian was a turn down for me, but I was still hoping for some good tart here. Finally I reached to the shop after asking 20 different staff people to guide me through the way. About the food: I came here only for Egg tart, and... More

I had read about Lord Stows and intended to visit their original bakery in Macao however we were short of time so went to the Venetian outlet and purchased a box of custard tarts. They are the best we have ever eaten. If you go to Macao you Must eat a Portugese Custard Tart from Lord Stows.
