Be prepared for a line up, but it is well worth it. The egg tarts are a must for visitors, but my hubby and I love the brownies, mini apple pies, and pita bread too. We go down to Coloane regularly just to pick up baked goods.

I went to the Bakery only. There's 4 Lord Stow outlets in Coloane, but the bakery is take-out only. The process for making the egg tarts is completely open. Fun to watch. Make sure you read the story about the creation of Lord Stow two doors down. Oh and the egg tarts are bloody good (can't talk about anything else).

Super delicious Egg Tarts in Portuguese style!! A local friend brought us there. The location was not easy to find if we were there alone. The tarts there are freshly made, you could tell the difference from the other bakeries. Unforgettable flavors! Would definitely go again for this little snacks.

Bought egg tarts and angel cake from here. The egg tarts were so fresh, the pastry was crumbly and the crust was slightly caremelised. Definitely worth going to the original.

I always been a fan to Lord stows bakery. When it's fresh, the custard tart is soooooo delicious!! I've been to Portugal and tried the very famous custard tarts there but I found they aren't as good as the ones here! It's not very cheap and the store location is not very convenient. But it's really delicious!

Lord Stows Bakery is infamous of Portuguese Tart, there are some other shops also selling this but Lord Stows Bakery is the best in town. Lord Stows' wife Margaret also opens her shops named as "Cafe e Nata Margaret's" for selling Portuguese Tart. Basically the products of these two shops are identical. But if you have chance to go Coloane,... More

The egg tarts at Lord Stowe's are legendary. To test the legend, we made the trip. It is a very unassuming place, but from these humble lodgings, the famous egg tarts came into the world. Upon entering, we were greeted by the aroma of the tarts. On a tray on the counter were a fresh batch, steaming pleasantly. We bought... More
