Well, a famous restaurant... ordered clams, rabbit, duck rice, wine... the restaurant had a nice decoration... ok, the food is a little bit disappointing, the clams are ok, but the rabbit is dry and the duck rice is too salty... for the price, maybe should try other places...

My wife and I looked forward to a romantic evening of authentic Portuguese cuisine. Every dish we ordered disappointed. The seafood stew (the most expensive dish) was 60% sliced overcooked potatoes lining the bottom of the wok-like pot it came in; we got the whole crab shell but only half of the body of the crab; 2 ugly gray-looking mussels,... Antonio's is up there as one of my favourite restaurants for serving beautifully cooked and presented Portuguese food in a charming restaurant that has crisp linens, beautiful cutlery and custom made plates which really makes it special without being stuffy. All the dishes we had were enjoyed with relish and the staff were attentive, we particularly enjoyed the singer and... More

First of all, why is this restaurant even a Michelin recommendation? The food is alright. It's not too bad, but it's definitely not Michelin recommended standard. The price is too expensive for such a small portion, average tasting food. And most importantly, the service is horrible. When we asked for a recommendation/suggestion from a European male waiter, he simply replied... More

First of i must say i am a local tour guide and i have tried most of the restaurants in Macau including most of the Michelin starts awarded restaurants. I have ordered a dish with cod fish, potatoes, cheese in a creamy sauce, a dish that is highly representative for Macau. I have also ordered a bottle of water but... More

After scouring through the internet for a good Portuguese restaurant in Macau, we decided on Antonio. Lovely little restaurant, rustic and comfy. I can almost imagine that we were in Portugal. The staff were polite and warm. We ordered the special sausage, flown in from Portugal, goat cheese with honey, bacalhau com natas and Portuguese duck rice. Verdict: very flavorful... More

We booked a table for lunch on a Saturday and they arranged a table in the basement. The environment was awful, air conditioning was too cold and the tables were very packed. Food quality was very average but I think the items are significantly overpriced! I do not think this restaurant is worth visiting at all.

Our dinner was one of the best meals we have had. The restaurant has a nice ambiance with plenty of staff to serve you. We had the clam started which was foodgasmic. I will order this every time I go and skip the salad, not because the salad isn't good, but because everything else is so delicious why get full... More

This one of the main reason's we came to Macau. To eat authentic Portugese food which otherwise could only be eaten in Portugal. Arrived around 2:30PM and there was no line. Seated promtply, the staff are friendly, the owner (I assume Antonio) came and was happy to take pictures with guests. A bit of a challenge to find the first... More

You need to got though a shop and down steep stairs to the restaurant that feels like it is in a cellar. The codfish cakes, scrambled eggs and octopus salad were so so the clams in white wine sauce were juicy and fat. Really good. The wet seafood rice was amazing but the grilled codfish was way too salty. The... More
