Worth a find!

Enjoyed ourselves at this authentic Portuguese eatery in a more quaint and rustic neighborhood, not that far from Venetian. Good and tasty - octopus salad was well marinated, roasted pork was tender. Given all the reviews we heard in Hong Kong, decided to book a table well in advance on the net... reached their to a quaint restaurant in the bylanes of the old city & the romantic in me was immediately sold on the experience.... the food was good, the sangria even better but its the setting that i took back... The hotel where we stayed recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Loved the Portuguese Sausage and the Roasted Pig. Plus the Portuguese guy who was playing the guitar while singing some Elvis Songs. Certainly made our dinner in Macau memorable.

I travel quite extensively and this restaurant is in the top 5 in the world in my opinion. If you are looking for great Portuguese food in Macau (or anywhere for that matter) this restaurant is a must. Steamed clams...great, seafood rice...great, I could go on. The staff is amazing and attentive as well. Do not forget the Porto after... More

Decided on Antonio for our 'Portuguese' dinner whilst in Macau. Was very good. Had a table out on their little balcony which was beautiful and allowed us to have a good look at all the houses surrounding the restaurant. Had the ham and sausage start along with the octupus salad, the dry paella for main and a mousse and creme... More

Famous for the Michelin star restaurant a whole building is the restaurant. We dined at the 3rd floor so be aware for kids and elderly people. The service was pretty attentive. We ordered claims and a jar of sangria to start with then I had a black pork and my bf a house steak. Pretty decent portion not like something... More

I had dinner twice at Antonio, one for a business purpose where I had the opportunity to taste a selection of Antonio's signature dishes. Overall, I was disappointed by the dishes, tastes were too blend for me. I had much better Portuguese food in less fancy places at a better price. Besides the African Chicken, nothing grabbed my attention on... More

We were seduced by the awards hanging outside the restaurant & went in for dinner. Ordered white clams, duck rice, codfish and still water. White clams were good (but not as good as A Petisquiera). Duck rice and codfish were way too salty. Codfish was rubbery too. Even the sides & garnish like potato, vege and crispy spinach were lacking.... More

My wife and I went here for dinner about 3 weeks ago. It is a very smart, well presented, Portugese restaurant and recommended in the Michelin Guide for HK and Macau. Well decorated in traditional style. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We shared the Bacalhau for a starter. Just as well, as they were large pieces in... More
