Great place we stumbled on

Fantastic Portuguese food. Seafood rice was a large sharing portion, also had the mussels which were quite fresh! Service leaves a little more to be desired... A little slow and not very enthusiastic

The cab dropped me off at the wrong place, so I got a little lost, but eventually found it. For all its awards, I expected it to be busier, but was able to walk right in and sit down. The portions are huge. The house wine is average, but not bad. The food was amazing. The server charred the sausage... More

We could not get a reservation at L'Arocha so a friend took us to Antonio's. The interior is much nicer here and does not feel as crowded. We ordered clams, sausage, salad and the port tenderloin. The sausage was flamed cooked at the table, very cool. All the food was excellent, my only with was the clams had more garlic.... More

Antonio's in Macau was a never to be forgotten experience. From the moment our rather large party of 20 walked in we knew this would be a special place. From Zara, who kept us well watered through the meal with red and "green" wine - green as she insisted this was first press wine - to Antonio and his entire... More

With a Michelin award, we expected far better from this place. While Antonio did visit the tables, he also was heard berating an employee two tables away...not cool. The African Chicken was overcooked breast ribs and legs, the Lobster Bisque? Let's just say he needs to learn what a bisque is, because broth is not it! Garlic shrimp was horrible.... More

What an outstanding meal. Forget going to the dull casino restaurants, get outside of the air conditioned money sucking boxes and experience some of what Macau is all about....Portuguese food!!! I always make a point of eating in the local restaurants when visiting Macau, and this time we found this hidden gem that blows the others out of the water.... More

I know Antonio personally and I can say he is an extremely hardworking man. But like in every restaurant, things do not always go as planned and you can have an occasional bad experience due to oversight of a kitchen staff. This is not my case. Every time we went to Antonio we were served excellent food & wine. Indulge... More

Just a average restaurant over-rated. The service was non existence. The sides that was serve with the main was terrible. Soggy fries, half of them looks like leftovers and re-fried. Miserable few pieces of lettuce, pathetic cucumber & onions piece together to call themselves a salad along side the grill black pork fillet. Paid Michelin price for this worst than... More

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. It has a lovely setting in an old Portuguese style cottage and the interior matches the old style with coloured tiles on the walls and picture frames hanging. The tables are also set with pretty tablecloth and accessories though a bit more spaced out would have been better. Although I am... More

Service is great, friendly and rustic. Great recommendations on Portuguese food and love the suggested wine. Family business atmosphere.
