Fabulous food and atmosphere

Fourth visit and Antonio's is consistently good. After multiple visits you know the routine and what to order .. Clams, flaming chorizo, garlic prawns and the main events, the Portuguese fish stew and paella. All were exceptional especially the soup. All washed down with the Quinta da Romaneira... read more

the food was simply bad. small potions, expensive, and bad products. it seemed like nobody cared about the quality the vegetables in the salad where very old the service was slow - we waited a long time for the food - after a while they came to tell us that there is a problem with the side dish.... no attention... While recently in Macau for the long weekend we made a last minute decision to go to Antonio's and thankfully there was a no-show so we were able to get in. The food was excellent, especially the Bacalhao com Natas (best i have ever had) and the African Chicken. Will definitely be back but this time with a reservation first!

We went to Macao for easter break with my familly and ware really desapointed about the whole experience , not warm welcome from staff , waited long time before getting table when place was far from full. Saussage cooked infant of you is the best we ad. The octopus salad was good but for that price and the size something... More

Visiting Macau is a great place to play and have fun because of gambling. But when you are in Macau you must visit and eat at this restaurant. António, situated in the heart of Taipa Village Macau, features authentic Portuguese cuisine proudly presented by renowned Chef António Coelho. The menu showcases favourite Portuguese dishes expertly prepared by Chef António. His... More

Antonio is a Michelin star restaurant that earns it stars. Mr. Cuehlo, the owner, is usually present, meeting and singing with guests and overseeing the kitchen, while his wife oversees guest services. Good staff who pride themselves on their customer service. Excellent food is an understatement. Pretty restaurant in nice walking location. Each course of an eight course dinner surprising... More

My wife and I experienced another memorable evening of outstanding food and highly enjoyable conversation at Antonio's lovely and truly unique restaurant. Antonio and his team have created a place where guests like us feel comfortable and relaxed and as if we were "home" - with familiar dishes a bit different and better each time we're there, like the wonderful... Macau is Hong Kong’s diminutive little brother. Over four hundred years of Portuguese influence has added an extra flavour to everything from the architecture to the indigenous Macanese cuisine. Portuguese Chef Antonio Coelho, owner and founder, is a Star Chef of Macau and his restaurant has been awarded by Michelin, The Louis Vuiton Guide, Chaine des Rotisseurs, among others. There... We did enjoy our noon meal here. Great, authentic portuguese cuisine. Antonio seems to have won a lot of awards. The service was a little slow, but the staff was friendly and the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere is a bit more formal than our other favorite portuguese restaurant in Macau, and the prices a bit higher too...just depends what you... More

Robust food and quite good value. The roasted sausage starter is enough for 2 people. The goats cheese on black bread with honey is divine and could almost be a dessert. You have to try the African Chicken because it is a speciality of Macau. And take the chef's wine recommendation - its his own label Duoro and superb drinking.
