if you can find it, you must eat here. our taxi driver wasn't sure of where it was and we were dropped off at another corner of the village. not a lot of people know where it is so it took some searching on Google maps (thank god for Google) before we could get there. the place is quaint -... More

We have been going to Antonio's for many years and always thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. But not this time. Antonio has over extended himself, and believe all the hyped. He has moved into bigger premises and increased prices but unfortunately the quality of the food has suffered. We had what we always order garlic prawns, chorizo, African chicken, duck rice and... Well, as a local resident, we always see traditional Portuguese cuisine are for tourists. I had heard a lot about Antonio as one of the best one in Macau, so I decided go there to try with my frds from Hong Kong. We were three people with one children. We order clams, sea food soups, sea food rice, steak, octopus... More

Honestly I wanted to give it 4/5 but it truly only deserves 3 out of 5. Basically I had high expectations for this place and I was somewhat disappointed. It's a true Portuguese experience.. From the decor to the musician they have singing some vado. The food on the other hand wasn't that great and extremely over priced.. I take... More

Well, a famous restaurant... ordered clams, rabbit, duck rice, wine... the restaurant had a nice decoration... ok, the food is a little bit disappointing, the clams are ok, but the rabbit is dry and the duck rice is too salty... for the price, maybe should try other places...

My wife and I looked forward to a romantic evening of authentic Portuguese cuisine. Every dish we ordered disappointed. The seafood stew (the most expensive dish) was 60% sliced overcooked potatoes lining the bottom of the wok-like pot it came in; we got the whole crab shell but only half of the body of the crab; 2 ugly gray-looking mussels,... Antonio's is up there as one of my favourite restaurants for serving beautifully cooked and presented Portuguese food in a charming restaurant that has crisp linens, beautiful cutlery and custom made plates which really makes it special without being stuffy. All the dishes we had were enjoyed with relish and the staff were attentive, we particularly enjoyed the singer and... More

First of all, why is this restaurant even a Michelin recommendation? The food is alright. It's not too bad, but it's definitely not Michelin recommended standard. The price is too expensive for such a small portion, average tasting food. And most importantly, the service is horrible. When we asked for a recommendation/suggestion from a European male waiter, he simply replied... More

First of i must say i am a local tour guide and i have tried most of the restaurants in Macau including most of the Michelin starts awarded restaurants. I have ordered a dish with cod fish, potatoes, cheese in a creamy sauce, a dish that is highly representative for Macau. I have also ordered a bottle of water but... More
