We dined in the upstairs dining room, which was a fit more formal than downstairs. The wine list was extensive and had something for everyone, even several wines by the glass. We had three courses and after-dinner drinks - everything was lovely. The staff was excellent. The evening was not cheap, but neither was it overpriced.

We saw the Portofino Restaurant's ad on the promotional TV Channel at our Venetian Suite and decided to pay it a visit for lunch. After a bit of grappling with the 3-D Maps near the South Lobby on the ground level, we found our way to Portofino. The restaurant looks amazingly beautiful. They had three new Vespa Scooters standing outside... More

The food and service was great but it was VERY expensive for what we got! Having said that if you are looking for something different to the traditional curries etc it is worth the money!

Stopped in for Valentines day dinner, they had really good wandering singer entertaining the dinners, but the tables werer set length ways so very hard to communicate, and the mega screen TV showing Soccer would no doubt put a dampener on any romantic ideas.

I had an early dinner and decided to stay put in The Venetian. When I saw the wine list of The Portofino, I decided to try it out. It was a good decision. The staff was extra helpful and gave us suggestions as to what was the signature dishes of the outlet.

Went to Portofino for an anniversary dinner on NYE, restaurant was pretty full so we were a bit worried as we hadn't made a reservation. No problem though, waited 5 mins and was able to get a table. Ordered the Pescatore which was delicious, a bit more expensive than other places but still definitely worth it. Obviously this is a... More

Went to Portofino at the Venetian, Macau. Most of the items listed on the menu were not available or sold out ( Fish and Lamb chops ) After all the 4 star rating I am surprised they serve below average pizza one of the only option available which was over baked and cheese was so chewy you could barely enjoy... We had been to Portofino once before in the summer and decided to try their special Christmas dinner featuring a lobster/salmon terrine, a pumpkin/chestnut soup, mushroom ravioli, and beef tenderloin rossini as the main course plus dessert. These dishes were prepared and the tastes were orchestrated superbly. The wines were also matched matched with skill including a Cakebread Sauvignon Blanc,... More

We had a variety of dishes... Pizza, pasta and steak. All were of a very good size and quite tasty. Breadbasket with dips and oil/ vinigar a nice touch. Wine by the glass good quality.
