Traditional Tea House for Dim Sum Breakfast

Just opposite to the art decor "red market", another traditional corner architecture for this gem. Tiled stairwell, iron framed window all speak of history. Opt for the more expensive tea, definitely worthwhile. Dim Sum variety is limited but has traditional flavors. Part of the experience is also... read more

The dishes a bit pricy or this imply to all Macau? Dim sum is at the side, self service, quite different from Hong Kong. I don't really think the food is nice, but the price is high...they charge service fee also ..... However, the staff are friendly so I'm find with it. I kind of scared of Hong Kong style... More

Good food, good place, good decoration, good Chinese tea, but no service (you have to take the food by yourself) and little bit over price! Can try one time, just for experience!

Most younger generation may go to a Cantonese tea house or restaurant in Hongkong ,Macau and even in Guangzhou, ordering some dimsum or cuisines which they think that they are Contonese food. In fact, most of them are not the original or typical ones.. When entering into Long Hua Tea House, immediately you will have the classic feel. Square un-armed chairs, square tables... More

Have been here few times...Chicken rice is a must eat here and you must try it by ordering single portion and make sure the chicken is served together with the rice (not separately). If you can stomach everything then try both. Yummy and yummy! That the only thing I will go for in this restaurant. The dim sum was just... More

Long Wa is an authentic Chinese tea house, virtually having all the characters you expect in the old days except the caged birds which are no longer allowed these days. You could soak up the atmosphere. Unlike other traditional Chinese restaurants such as Tak Yu restaurant in Yau Ma Tei (Hong Kong), the boss and staff at Long Wa were... More

Real authentic tea house in a old building with old furniture. Visualize cabin like benches, wrought iron window grill and "aged" waiter and waitresses......nothing to shout about the food. Coming from Malaysia and living in Australia where the dim sum choices is as long as a scroll, this tea house has limited choices. The BBQ pork bun had only a... More

Well-established local teahouse which can be easily located as it is just next to famous "Red Market" in Macau. The taxi drivers will know. Serves good chinese tea and food on the second floor of an old shophouse. Spacious. Friendly shopkeeper. Decent choice for a local breakfast/ brunch. Opens from 7am till 2pm only. Must try the steamed chicken with... More

This is an establishment serving the Dim Sum brunch continuously for 40 years in the same style and same location – the last of its kind. It is well known among the locals but not to visitors. The owner collects tea and one corner of the tea house served as tea warehouse. The spacious place filled with many interesting painting,... More
