Service was terrible. Waiters, even the manager was so rude we were speechless. Food was average, price way over priced. Would not recommend.

Very normal food, nothing to shout about. Curry crab was a let down. African chicken, nothing special. Only the pigeon saved the day. Jus eat pigeon here. Everything else is a waste of time, honestly.

Exceptional macanese food worth the money. Good Portuguese wine list. House wine perfectly acceptable. Service above average.

Fat Siu Lau is a true Macanese cooking restaurant which has been in business for more than 100 years. I went to the original one which was close to the "central" district. It is in a building with three levels, each has its unique style of decoration. We ordered the Portuguese salty fish ball appetizer, lightly fried, a true tasty... More

Service was terrible! My food came out and I had eaten it before my boyfriends came out 10 mins later so we had to sit and watch each other eat. When we said we didn't want to pay the 10% service charge as we didn't receive a good service they gave us no option but to pay it as we... More

Food was great. The seafood rice was favourful and the portion was generous. The roasted pigeon was tender and juicy. The staff was attentive as well. They were prompt to top up our tea and offered us gloves when they saw that we had difficulty eating the roasted pigeon. The price was very reasonable considering the quality of the food,... More

Founded well over a century ago, Fat Siu Lau is long known as the mecca (together with Pinnochio Restaurant) of "Macanese" cooking. Well, what's "Macanese cuisine" one might ask? Long story short, it was the original "fushion" cuisine before all these hip, postmodern nonsense you get nowadays in Hong Kong or New York popped up. It is the cuisine native... More

This was the original location of the restaurant (there are now two others) and it is said to have been in operation for 103 yrs serving Macanese food (a fusion of Portuguese and Chinese cuisines). The restaurant was totally remodeled into a very contemporary setting. We had their curry hairy crab, baked pork chop rice and African Chicken, all house... More

Place which served Macau beer (like it). Perfect seafood rice. Galinha Africana was very good also, although there is one place in city where it was better, as for me. In general, highly recommended place

We had lunch there, mind the staffs were very unfriendly in the beginning. We don't mind paying for good food, but for the 1st meal in Macau we were very disappointed. We ordered 5 meals nothing was memorable. My husband who love eating did not even finish his pigeon. The baked rice was ok but there's nothing much in it.... More
