Came for lunch because of positive reviews. Colonial atmosphere is highlight. Food average. Had the clams and found the sauce bland and the clams rubbery. The garlic prawns were better. The duck rice was dry. Creme brûlée was nice. Our waiter was friendly. Overall we will not come back. There are better Portuguese restaurants in Macau.

A classy restaurant with good food, but on the expensive side. If your purpose is only to have great tasting portuguese food, this may not necessarily be the place for you, since you can find other amazing restaurants in Macau with a better price, yet average environment. If you want to have a nice, more formal dinner, this is the... More

Beautiful dining room. 3 of us went for dinner. Each has entrees, main courses and desserts. Also has a bottle of wine, 2 glasses of fresh orange juice and chinese tea. Came to about MOP 1300. Absolutely superb suckling pig, fantastic African chicken, clam soup was tasty, cod fish was perfect. Attentive service. Will definitely go back!

A must for macau visitors if you want to have a taste for the real macau flavour away from the tacky predictable casino venues. Real olde world charm. Excellent honest Portuguese food. We had the clams, the sardines ( beautiful) , the duck rice is superb, and the coconut ice cream on a glazed pineapple slice just rounded up the... More

If one is not a member, he or she can only have lunch here after 2 p.m. If you go, please observe the unwritten dress code; it's not the place for shorts or grunge wear. Also not the place for raucous children running wild. Most of the clientele are local business and professional people. Well prepared Portuguese fare and wine... More

I went to Clube Militar de Macau with some friends and during a specific event - Gastronomy and Wine Festival at the Military Club - with special invitation of Chef Henrique Sa Pessoa. It was a La Carte, for such a special event the dinner was quite affordable even though we enjoy a member discount. The dishes we ordered were... More

Having been here more than fifteen years ago, I had better memories of the food. The place is still great with its colonial flavour and Portoguese food and wine. Still, a bit more attention with the service and with the quality of the food would be required to match my memories: for example the duck was a forgettable dish and... More

Genuine Portuguese Food, excellent wines and a unique environment. If you can only eat in one or two places in Macau this one of them.

We went to Clube Militar last night for the first time. It was recommended by the hotel staff as being a very popular Portuguese restaurant. The location was great, the facilities were nice too, but the service was a bit slow, and it wasn't busy at that time. We went at about 9pm, so there were only 5 other tables... More

Macanese food to me is not at the top of my preferences but this place is a must do. The setting is wonderful and convenient to the old twon and main square. The service is tops by Macanese standards
