A Taste of Portugal in Macau.

It is not easy to get a table here which shows how popular the place is. And not without due cause as the food is really good here. Naturally the seafood is outstanding and makes the trip worthwhile. The service is also very good.

If you are going for dinner it's a good thing to book first, because A Lorcha is usually full (quick fact: Lorcha is a type of boat in Portuguese). Food is good according to Portuguese standards, definitely try the clams, the acorda or any type of codfish, but the menu is quite wide, as is Portuguese food. White wine for... More

Good Portuguese food. You must try the Portuguese seafood rice and the vegetable potato soup. You need to reserve the table first, because many people know the restaurant, you may need to wait long time if you don't reserved the table.

Went there for lunch today. We had clams in a spicy sauce and char grilled lamb. Both were so delicious. But our bill for those two item plus a bottle of water to share was $43 usd for lunch. Still, everything was excellently spiced. Right next to the A-Ma temple. We took the 10A bus back to the ferry, which... More

You need a reservation for this place. It's small and apparently very popular with the locals. I went with a friend and we ordered the clams, the mixed seafood rice, and the African chicken. The clams were best. If you are going by yourself, order just the clams, a glass of sangria. Take the warm bread and use the clam... More

I first came here with a group of work colleagues from Hong Kong away on a stag weekend in Macau. And I have been back several times over the past 25 years, have never been disappointed and have always had a great time. The food is tasty, the bread rolls are crunchy on the outside and warm and soft on... More

We first read about this restaurant in a guide book so thought that we give a try of Macau local cuisine. The restaurant is near the A Ma temple and conveniently located next to a bus stop so it was very easy for us to find our way to the restaurant with public transport. The restaurant is quite small and... More

My boyfriend and I followed lonely planets advice and came here after visiting the A-Ma temple. From the outside it looked as if it were closed but as we opened the door we could already sense a great atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses were so friendly. We had four dishes, the octopus salad being our favourite meal - a must... More

I went there with my friend yesterday. I booked the table 3 days before. The restaurant is not big actually a little crowded. But very clean and comfortable. It opens at 12:30 at noon. There was already a name brand on the table. People could went direclty to the table with your name. The waitor/waitress could only speak Cantonese or... More
