This is one of our favourite restaurants in Macau. Very popular with locals and tourists, make sure to book a table, and if you are a large group, it’s better to book a couple of weeks in advance. The service is friendly, courteous and prompt. It can be a bit noisy sometimes depending on other diners as the tables are... More

This restaurant opens strictly at 6.30pm for dinner so don't go earlier as you wont be seated earlier than 6.30pm. For 2 of us, we ordered clams, grilled seabass and mixed vegetables. The portions are HUGE. The clams and mixed vegetables can easily be shared between 4 people. The clams is the MOST delicious clams that I've ever tasted, you... More

I went here with my mother and we called for a last minute reservation. We called around 4pm and were able to get a table by the door at 6:30pm when they opened. (This was a Sunday night and they said they were fully booked and only a table at 9:30pm. When I asked about just walking in for a... More

Had dinner at the restaurant. Not easy to get a table and had to wait but it was well worth it. Had black pepper chicken with garlic bread which was delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient. Strongly recommend this restaurant.

After reading strong reviews, we decided to give A Lorcha a whirl on a weekend trip to Macau, and very pleased with our new discovery we were!! We tried the 'pipi' - chicken giblets in a rich sauce, Prawn a Lorcha and bacalhau fritters as starters - all simply excellent! The chicken in coconut and turmeric sauce and chargrilled pork... More

Had dinner here. Staff was friendly. Portugese-Macau cusine, authentic, and crowded with locals/hong kongers. Don't miss the clams.

what a delight this place was. My wife and I made a day-trip from Hong Kong to sample the Portuguese food here and we were not disappointed. Busy, busy here for a reason. There was a short line-up for a table at 2:00 PM on a Monday. We had (based on our Waiter's help) #22 spicy clams (not too spicy),... More

Being a Portuguese restaurant, I guess I figured the staff would be Portuguese, but not a one in sight. A hard working crew of Chinese cooks, waiters, and bar folk buzzed around like Whirling Dirvishes, catering to the needs of a very packed place. Our meal, gleaned totally from the sea, was delicious and VERY GENEROUS, so that if you... More

We had a late lunch here after walking from the Largo do Senado to the Maritime Museum via several colonial landmarks and the newly restored Mandarin's House. A great route, and what a great restaurant at the end of it. We hadn't booked but the restaurant was only half full at 2-ish on a thursday afternoon, so no problem getting... More
